Ok so this was the least inspired pizza I’ve had in years. Super soggy, like it was made yesterday, little flavor, way over salted. 1-10.I ordered a slice of cheese and a pepperoni. This is what I got….
DeLeo’s Pizza, your typical NY football style pizza. Good taste, good crust, good amount of balance between sauce and cheese and pepperoni.I think the prices are good for the pizza you are getting.I do recommend you give this place a try if you are in the area or get hungry from walking around in the Southdale Mall in Edina.
I would say that this pizza has a great crust and with the garlic butter on it puts it over the top. I like the sauce, however I think it needs some more flavor and spice to the pizza. Had a chuckle at the 80s arcade games and brought back great memories.
I was really excited to try this place after reading all the reviews. We live close to we ordered takeout a little before 6 pm with a pickup time provided for 630. My husband arrived on time and called at 630 to confirm he had arrived for his order. At 650 pm not receiving the pizza yet he called again and they said "sorry we forgot to bring out your order". Needless to say our pizza has been sitting there for 30 minutes plus the 7 minutes drive home, our pizza was cold and not very edible. We ended up throwing all but 2 slices away. Just not very good at all after sitting that long. Not to mention we ordered the taco pizza and they didn't have dorotos and gave us a bag of ruffles in place. We called right away to complain and the manager was not very apologetic. We did get our money back but we won't be going back.
First thing I noticed was the awesome 80s pop culture decor. The pizza itself was great.. I got bacon and garlic. Wife got the Mediterranean pie, and she loved it. The 80s music playing definitely helped set the vibe. The whole time I kept thinking that this pizza place could be right out of Ready Player One. I love everything about it. I wish that they had a location in St. Louis Park or Minneapolis.. good thing it's not far away!
Great pizza the slices are good but getting a fresh pie is divine. Love the vibe of the place feels like going back in time. They put a lot of garlic on the crust so if you're not a fan make sure to ask them to hold that.
Tried DeLeo Bros. pizza for dine in today for the first time - won't be the last. Pretty good pizza! The rest of the menu looked really good as well - lots of options for the whole family. The atmosphere is also really cool. The one down side was there was a lot (and I mean a lot) of gnats or fruit flies at our table. Wasn't sure if that was a one time thing or if there is a bug issue... we sat by the table you bring your cups/plates to so I'm sure that may have played a part.
The spinach artichoke pizza was FABULOUS. Not so.ething I normally get but manager suggested it, great choice. The atmosphere is so fun, maybe cause I am older. It's a throwback thrill. And the staff was friendly, and the restaurant kept clean.5 stars plus!!
80's inspired.Great pizza & garlic twistAll agesCleanFantastic memorabiliaAwesome managementGoing back soon!
The guys behind the counter were awesome, the pizza was delicious, and I loved the whole 80s aesthetic they had going on. Definitely will be returning here.
