Wonderful appetizers and food as always. The pecan crusted walleye was amazing! We were seated on the patio (beautiful evening), BUT they put our party on the very far end near the fence & exit door. And the sun was pounding down so only 4 of hte 6 of us were able to see each other....bummer the umbrella didn't tilt or swivel.
Beautiful night to sit outside looking over the lake with good friends and have well cooked and prepared food. Service was excellent.
Just very mediocre overall. First time visiting post pandemic and was disappointing experience overall. To be honest I should have know when I could get a reservation on a rainy Saturday night on short notice. The place wasn't empty but it ws far from packed like it used to be. Will not return. Ambience is pretty much the same as always, very nice there. Great patio. Service was acceptable. Our waiter was attentive and very friendly. The menu has really gone downhill. Very limited one large page. Apparently this is one of the places that reduces their menu during Covid and to their detriment for whatever reason is still sticking with it. Three sandwich choices: a burger with cheddar, bacon and bbq sauce (no other cheese choices or burger size listed) for $17, a turkey burger, and a fried chicken sandwich. That's it. Flatbread pizza - 3 choices. Steak options - 3. All in the $40's with no portion sizes (ounces of the cut) listed on the menu. Overpriced small appetizers (shared plates) - 12. Fondue consisted of underwhelming Gouda, about 2/3 green apple (wedges), some grapes, some broccoli, some bread cubes and about 2.5 ounces of chicken - $22.50. Clearly that appears to be the focus. Sell lots of small overpriced apps. Disappointing menu overall. The food was poor to average. Turkey burger wasn't dry and had decent flavor so that was good. The crusted walleye had good flavor and was above avg size but there were at least 2 large bones in it. The Margherita flat bread pizza was difficult to finish. Mediocre basil pesto (Costco's has better flavor), sliced large sandwich tomatoes (one giant slice on each piece), very little garlic and mozzarella, and the fresh basil was underwhelming. Topped off with a drizzled balsamic reduction over the whole thing overwhelming any other flavors with it's sweetness. This was our last visit and I don't think the future is bright for them unless they get back to being the high quality place they used to be.
Great service and food
Wonderful service and delicious food!
Disappointing. My $17 dollar salad was way overdressed and soggy and the rotisserie chicken was stringy; nearly inedible. Redstone used to serve beautiful entree salads, but I think that might be a thing of the past. Itâs still the most lovely patio in Eden Prairie, so weâll return for the ambiance. I just hope the food can once again be as enjoyable.
Wonderful place to dine outside
Graduation celebration and birthday
waited an hour for our food, my pasta was mushy, like it had been sitting a long time
All was good. Our server Katrina, was exceptional! When the sauce for our giant shrimp wasnât one we wanted, she actually made one that was perfect. She handled everything perfectly and efficiently. What an asset in our enjoyable experience!
