As a server I have really low standards of service and know there’s a learning curve for this industry. I’m understanding of mistakes and don’t like writing bad reviews. But I had a rude service experience here and feel as though people should be aware.I got there before two friends did, we’re all 21+ so I ordered a beer while I waited. The bartender was great and professional (the only reason this isn’t a one star review), and I was impressed by their selection of beers. Once my friends showed up I offered a taste of it to them, and I truly thought nothing of it since they’re both over 21 and have had drinks with them many times. The manager (a woman with silver hair) rudely told us to put the beer down until they all could get carded. They all showed their IDs and she left, but I overheard her talking about us to a coworker afterward. We were bothered by the way this was handled since we’re all in the service industry and have management experience. I asked to speak to her about the interaction and she continued to be rude, even when I was simply looking to diffuse the tension around a misunderstanding. She told me that she apologized (she didn’t) and that we should close out our tabs and leave. I’ve never had an interaction like this and frankly don’t think the manager needed to handle it, especially given that the only thing we did wrong was give a sip of beer to someone before being carded— which was solved immediately by them showing their valid IDs. We told her that she could’ve stopped us in a friendlier way but she made it obvious that she wasn’t interested in receiving feedback or even apologizing. I wouldn’t go here again.
Old Chicago is an awesome bar and restaurant!! The food is always so delicious. The personal pizzas and calzones are so generous in size that they could feed two people!! The burgers are enormous, as well! They also serve over 100 different types of beers as well as having an extensive drink selection? The OC Mai Tai is the bomb ? All the servers are are friendly and attentive. Thank you for making my visit so fantastic, again ?

I paid over $17 for a tall order of chicken wings. In the Google photos shows a menu price of $11 and change for a tall order which looks considerably larger than 9 wings. $2 per wing? Na son!
One of the best places around to get food after hours . I am not able to find anything. Even MCD and Taco Bell are closed and I found this amazing place. Nice place to hangout and amazing food and brewery options. Best place to have some late night food party and drinks.
I have been a club member for years, and rarely had a less than 100% positive experience. Last night was the BEST!! I received a $17 dollar birthday coupon from old Chicago and we went to the Eden prairie location last night to celebrate my 74th birthday.We had fabulous food and beverage, but our server made it the best experience ever. We were greeted at the door, quickly seated and told our server would be with us soon. When Ja mar arrived at our table with the biggest smile and most happy disposition we were pleased. He served completely and correctly and made my birthday a great experience.Thank you Old Chicago - and a big Thank You Ja mar for taking such good care of us!!!
I understand that Old Chicag (short for Old Chicago) wants their menu items Chicago themed. But, has anyone else noticed many of their items are named after terrible Chicago-related events such as the Chicago fire or the Chicago eight? What's next? A Calzone named The Saint Valentine's Day massacre?No other restaurant does this. Olive Garden doesn't offer the Roman Crucifixion Pasta Bowl. The 50s Diner doesn't offer the Segregation Sandwich. Do you just think people are ignorant, Old Chicago? Do you?? We'll you're right. Anyway, I recommend the Chicago Fire. It's delicious.

The other day me and my girlfriend went in for a casual dinner we do. We got there and noticed there was a girl in training which is not an issue at all. She took our order and my girlfriend got her food first then mine came out 15 min later but it was wrong, then it took another 20 to get mine. The food was cold and didn’t taste very well like it was undercooked.
I ordered from Uber Eats. I ordered a build your own calzone. I was very disappointed. I kinda assumed a “pizza” item would have sauce. There was no marinara/pizza sauce. It was very bland and I didn’t eat it. Had I been in the restaurant I would of requested a refund. The filling was very bland and a sauce would of helped. Also….. salt, seasoning is your friend. There also wasn’t very much cheese. I would of expected a cheesy filling. It was like eating a dough filled with bland onions. Wasn’t even a lot of mushrooms.Not what I expected at all
