We ate lunch there for the first time today. Our server Jenny was extremely helpful and personable. The menu prices are great, and the quality of food was excellent.The menu is very basic, so just know that ahead of time. If you want a great hamburger and fries, go here.The service was excellent, and the food came out extremely fast.The atmosphere was very comfortable, and almost cozy. It's the kind of place you might go after work every day, and it sort of has that small town feel.Overall, 5 stars for great food, service, and atmosphere.
Never a miss and always find a way to stop. Either belly up to the bar or sit down with the family and enjoy one of my top 3 burgers. I would also advocate for grabbing their in house season to take home. It's close to being there but the beef they use is hard to match.
I love this place. The food is great, and they really seem to care about customers, which is nice these days. Great people, and I enjoy making the trip with family for the best burgers around. Their seasoning is my secret ingredients when I make burgers at home - everyone who eats one always asks where I got the amazing seasoning. And sometimes I tell them. ;)
An honest review.. their burgers are OK and honestly could easily be a 5 with a little extra effort. The bacon is sad.. very thin and not worth the extra. Fries were plain. No silverware provided. Servers/staff were nice. Meh...

Always delicious. Menu hasn't changed in the 38 years my husband has been alive. Burgers and only burgers. I like the cheeseburger with fried or raw onions; if you are an onion lover, get the sliced raw - it is literally an entire round of onion. Quick service, be ready! This is not a spot to linger for hours. Always good, as I said, can be relied on. A really cool, vintage spot.
Service is fantastic and the food is great! Some of the best burgers I've ever had and at a great price. Will be back many more times and highly recommend this place for great burgers and fries!
This is a great, no-frills burger at a great, no frills price. 1919 root beer makes the meal extra-special. The bacon wasn't worth eating -- you couldn't tell it was there, and the burger would have been just fine without it. This is a good option for a quick bite.

I am planning a trip this summer with my family. I have good memories of Lion's Tap from my college days and wanted to eat there again. Our family has food allergies. I called to see what would be safe for us to eat. Dave answered the phone and answered all of my questions. He was very knowledgeable about the ingredients and how the food was prepared. I am excited to take my family there on our road trip!
