My spouse got the pad thai. Bland at best. I liked the egg roll. Fried rice was ok. Mongolian chicken was good but very oily
I used to work there a long time ago and it was always outstandingly delicious. I am saddened to see the comments now on how it has gone downhill. I am confident Kai and Lai Chu must no longer own it, and that is why it's not the same

Ordered sweet and sour chicken lunch special for take-out, and was not disappointed. Hot fresh food, good portions, and friendly staff. I would recommend it, and I will be going back again!
The only reason this wasn't 5 stars is there is very little seating. Food was great, good flavor and fresh. Service was good as well. I will be back and probably often!
Reliable, basic Chinese food like you grew up with. Nothing fancy, but darn if we don't love their egg foo young!

Outside of the many known socio economic & migratory reasons that chinese take out places come to exist in this country ... the kung pao with fried rice was a heaping pile of slop, and though edible is so completely unrepresentative of what chinese/asian food could be, should be & has so much more potential to be ... I encourage House of Kai to kick it up a notch and not be just another "take out" place
