Wildcats is a neighborhood bar/restaurant which I have come to love and admire. It's a survivor! A survivor of corona disaster, and a survivor of the many, many competitive bars and restaurants which surround Wildcats. But, I know why it's surviving, and even thriving - great bar food (with a hint of Mediterranean in many of the items), decent mixed drinks, and warm atmosphere.Wildcats is located in an older strip mall, just off of 35E. It's open until late night, unlike other bars and restaurants in the area. Although the beer selection on tap is very limited (and I'm a beer drinker), their mixed drinks are very popular and inexpensive.I love their special burger deal on Monday nights - An enormous burger, grilled to perfection, on a nicely grilled bun. Extras on the burger cost a bit more, but the price starting at $5 is hard to beat. Their onion rings (seriously) are the best onion rings I've ever had - they must have a really hot fryer - the rings are firm, and oh so crispy. Perfect! They have a smallish covered patio, jutting out into the parking lot in front of the restaurant. I've been to Wildcats 4 or 5 times now, and it's almost always very crowded. Everyone is festive, and the staff knows most of the patrons. Small town atmosphere!I give Wildcats 5 star for the easy parking, small patio, great drink and food specials per day, the wonderfully grilled burgers they sell, and the festive and lively atmosphere. The staff is also amazing too! I give beer selection a 2.5, though; this is a hard liquor joint, only a few stock beers on tap. I usually stick to Grainbelt Nordeast. It's easy drinking. I also like their Moscow Mules. Good stuff.
Karaoke on Saturday nights with Cody is an awesome time! ?This place has awesome Mediterranean food and a good steak for under $20 on the menu. George, the owner, is a great guy. Skip the corporate BS and support this locally-owned watering hole.
Came here very late at night after watching the Premier Lacrosse League at TCO Stadium, and boy were we glad we stumbled into this place! Yes it's a neighborhood bar and all that you expected is, but the food was fantastic and the weight service was equally awesome! Will need to come back sometime during our trip to try the cheese curds as we saw them up to other people's tables and they looked beyond awesome.
I want to start out by saying that the owner, George, the staff, and the customers are wonderful. Every time that I come here, I meet amazing people who are very friendly and make me feel welcome. Today I had the chicken bacon ranch wrap and it was absolutely delicious!!! The fries that came with the wrap were really good!!! I would definitely recommend Wildcats!!!
Great burgers, fries an onion rings. A corner bar atmosphere. Limited IPA selection.
Service was spot on, George came to our table of 9 and personally met us. My cousin and his coworkers go there frequently. My first trip and Iwas Impressed! Get the skin on fries!
Had a great Philly cheese steak! Friendly staff!!
Great place! Out-of-towner but felt like a local right from the start. Excellent service, great bartender, awesome food.
One of the best bars in Eagan. I'm. Pretty sure the owner works the floor. He's very engaging and treats the customers like they are family.
We had great food, great service and really enjoyed our evening. I had the gyro salad and it was wonderful! I highly recommend this restaurant!!
