Very quick service. We like Punch salads and our grandson loves their pizza. We are used to waiting but here the wait was short even though it was lunchtime and busy.
Punch is our go-to Neapolitan pizzeria in MN with a bunch of different locations including a new one that will be opening soon in Apple Valley that we are anxiously looking forward to (would be closest to us). Punch pizza is always great. Normally order the Bruni DOC which comes with buffalo mozzarella. Also, daughter's (11) favorite pizza place as well. I've heard other comments that the crust or bottom is burnt. I actually prefer a char on my crust as this is what you normally look for on a wood fired Neapolitan pizza. Punch is the only Neapolitan pizza place that I'm aware of in MN that has its Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana certification meaning that their pizzas adhere to the strict pizza making qualifications that you would find in Naples. The char on the crust is a result of the high temperature wood fired oven (900) degrees and the surface of the oven (stone) that it's baked on. Sometimes the bottom picks up some ash from the oven (it's normal folks!) If it's too charred, simply tell them and they will ALWAYS remake your pizza at no charge and since it comes out within 60 seconds you shouldn't have too wait long. Anyway! Shout out to the team at Punch... keep up the great work and the amazing product you always pump out. Also, try the Punch salad... awesome! We now have an Ooni outdoor pizza oven, but we still go to Punch because my daughter and I are addicted.
You get your own pizza, which is super cool! And you know you will want to save the other half for later. Just the right amount of cheese, yummy toppings and it is hand-made! What more could you ask for from a little pizza joint?! It was a very pleasant experience.
The staff was outstanding! They let me know the pizza would take 30 min (totally worth it!). They were all working hard, busy making food, delivering good, cleaning the tables, all with a great attitude and hustle. The pizza was hot and cooked to perfection!
Ordered online ahead of time and when I arrived they had 3 pizzas for me instead of 2. Was a little confused but they had made the first pizza not lightly done so they redid it and gave me both. Major props to punch and the employees because most places would have just given me the one that wasn’t lightly done and called it good. Amazing customer service!
Makes my kids really happy. Great pizzas and salads. Their gluten free crust makes me pretty happy since I can’t eat most of the pizzas I used to love.
Punch Pizza is one of my favorite restaurants. Every different variant of pizza I try, I instantaneously love. These people know flavor, ladies and gentlemen. The only flaw? No pineapple options. It’s 2022, pineapple is a legitimate pizza topping and the top choice for a certain pizza aficionados such as myself. Get used to it, world. The focaccia bread is also great.
Great Pizza- as long as you're not hungry now and will be in at least 60-90 mins.Every time I come to this particular location it's no less than a 50 minute wait. I don't see the marketing working if it was "900 Degrees & 90 seconds to cook, after 50 minutes to prepare it" so they leave that last part out.Order online they say- sure why not!?*orders at 5PM for earliest pickup at 7:15PM* shows up at 7:15 and it's not ready until 7:30.Love the food, but the ordering experience completely takes away from me wanting to come back.
Love Punch Pizza! The focaccia bread, Punch salad and Sicilana, those are what we always order and it never dissapoints.
I love the Neapolitan style pizza, especially when fresh out of the oven. Punch does a great job with their pizza. My favorite is the Arugula pizza with loads of prosciutto on top, but the Maximus is also very good. It’s also pleasing to see the guys working the wood-fired oven.
