Loved coming to Mad Cow, but since the menu change last week and so many things removed, especially things that were gluten free I won't be back often. I was really disappointed when I stopped in the other day to find the menu had just changed and so many gf options were removed the menu. As more and more gluten free options are needing seeing them being pulled from the menu was a bummer as my days coming in will be much more limited. I always knew I'd get a good meal there with plenty of options and sadly that is no more. Unfortunate, when we loved coming as often as we did. Even the table next to us that wanted gluten free options commented on their disappointment of seeing so many things removed from the menu. I don't expect anything to change, but wanted to express my disappointment anyway in case someone is actually reading these and paying attention to reviews. Your staff is incredible, love the staff, always fun, and on the ball, just disappointed in the menu change and drastic price increases.
We overheard a server named Dawn being fairly rude to another server in front of customers. Apart from that interaction our server Megan was great! She was attentive and covered our two tables great. p.s. pull tabs were not gentle tonight.
Service was quick and friendly, the wild rice soup was awesome - we will most likely return. However, I would advise against getting the lobster roll - not only was it served on Texas toast (which is an odd choice, considering it's usually on, you know, a "roll" like the menu states) but the one I got was actually not fresh and ended up making me sick. The staff replaced it without complaint, but I will definitely never order it again.
Ate on the patio and it was glorious! The Wrangler was cooked perfectly - one order had onion rings and the other fries. Both were good but I preferred the fries. Service was fast and friendly. This was our first visit and we'd go back again.
Had to be one of the best meals (steaks) I've ever had in 70+ years. I would give this place ten stars. They also had my favorite beer castle danger cream ale, please keep it on tap. Not one negative comment for four great meals. My first time posting with no pictures, because we devoured our meals.
This place had a good vibe, good food with unique with traditional options on their menu. The services was attentive and the staff was friendly.

The food was actually unbelievable! Things I normally hate at other restaurants apparently just didn't make it right. 3 appetizers, 3 entrees and every one of them was incredible! Our server Tonya was not only professional and attentive, but also very fun and friendly. I can't think of the last time I had a meal like this, along with fantastic service!
I have only been once but will definitely be back! Jillane, our server, was fantastic and very accommodating after what I ordered came with an ingredient I cannot eat. She was able to take it off my bill and get me a different meal which was delicious. I brought my 2 kids and they enjoyed the kids pizza and chili! Highly recommend for kids and adults alike - I can see this place being fun in the evening, too.
Amazing food and service! Banana Foster is to die for!
