The fried rice wasn’t cooked fully. It had peas and instead of bean sprouts and very little meat/shrimp despite getting house fried rice. I also bought chicken egg rolls and there was no chicken in it. I cannot recommend this place to anyone looking for even average Chinese food. I regret giving them a second chance.
After a few years of eating Asian food here primarily, the food has gone downhill. The quality of the chicken (the meat) is atrocious. Prices are WAY too high for the low quality.
Classic small biz - food is great and they remember you when you come in. Try the Ho Ting Lo Mein!!
Horrible food and over priced. Should’ve listened to the negative reviews. Food was hot but bland and absolutely no flavor. Fried rice came with no vegetables so it was just plain rice which tasted awful. Bland potstickers and lemon chicken was severely dry. Would really like our money back…
I’ve had better, I’ve had far worse. I’ve never had bad food or a bad experience there. ALWAYS friendly and welcoming. Portions could be larger. Shrimp are small. Excellent egg drop soup. I think their prices are fair. The kids (probably the owner’s kids or grandkids) seemed bothered to work. Faces ALWAYS in their phones, and their customer service is deplorable, but the owner’s wife is always so warm and hospitable. I like Ho Ting.
Don't skip the cream cheese wontons, they're delicate little packs of cream cheese wrapped in a dough that practically melts in your mouth. It sounds like one order should be enough to share, but you won't want to after eating just one. The food here is cooked to order and is so incredibly fresh and flavored. I have my spicy favorites, my husband is a devotee of their chow mein lineup.I love their egg rolls and even better, I love that they have cups of super spicy mustard you can ask for. The kind where just a dab will open the most stuffy of noses. I'm convinced their hot and sour soup has medicinal properties.Steak Kow, Garlic Shrimp are two of my favorites, but I'm starting to work my way through the extensive menu to try more of their offerings. The family who works here is so warm and friendly, I'd support them even if their food wasn't as good as it is.
Oh no! Normally really fresh and hot but just not good tonight. The fried rice was fresh but really stale warmed-up egg rolls and chewy sweet & sour chicken. Ugh, even the fortune cookie was soggy. Hopefully they were just having an off night...
The ma po tofu and steamed dumpling were excellent!
2021 update: their sesame chicken is not good anymore. Love their fried rice and wontons though.Seriously great Chinese food. I'm so happy to have found the nearby about a year ago. Their sesame chicken is especially delicious -- it's not very spicy, but it is the best! Their lunch buffet is also good -- not the greatest service during the buffet, but for the price and the quality of food, it's good overall.
The best Chinese food in Eagan. Hot fresh and always delicious. The delivery is quick, the prices are affordable, and the menue selection has something for everyone. It is my new favorite place for delivery
