So I generally like the taste of the food here but I can't say I find the salads/bowls to be worth the price, lately at least. I ordered a large Mediterranean protein bowl, and I'd hardly say the amount I got was worth around $11 (the containers are different but I would say it was maybe slightly more than half of what you'd get with a Panera full size salad, comparatively). Plenty of dressing, which is cool I guess cuz the dressing is delicious. Sandwiches, soups, and the infusion drinks are good though.
A lunch place that offers sandwiches or salads or a combo of protein and greens. Cool. It's not worth the money. $10 plus for mostly greens a couple pieces of meat and egg slices does not make for a full lunch. But it's a great business model because the place was packed. I say Mooooooo for the cattle lining up to pay top dollar for nothing special. Pass
Found a bug still attached tightly to a leaf in my salad ? BUT I called up there and spoke to a manager. She was so kind and understanding and also found it gross. She kindly refunded me. That’s great customer service right there! They sure won’t lose a customer (me) with how they handled this situation.
Honestly the best damn place. First time trying and was very impressed. Food was perfect people are nice and friendly. Clean tables. I’ll be back soon ?
The salads need some love. Minimal protein and additional toppings. I ordered the California Cobb and you’d expect more of the “fun” stuff. Even the chicken, there was less than 10 pieces of tiny diced chicken on the entire salad. The other options are more well portioned but salads need some major love.
I enjoyed my food from cafe zupas, but there are also some areas that could use improvement.I really enjoyed getting to have a fresh meal. I got the combo option so that I could try a couple of different things. I finished everything I ordered and LOVED the chocolate covered strawberry (how cute!)I didn't like, however, that the ingredients for meal options weren't clearly listed. There was a photo available, but it was hard to tell what things were in some cases. I accidentally ordered something that contained an ingredient I didn't want because I didn't notice it in the photo. The dining area also feels pretty congested. The tables are placed close together and I had to get pretty close to diners eating their food just trying to walk somewhere. this isn't really an issue for me when I go somewhere that has wait staff, but when you're going somewhere that requires you getting drinks, napkins, silverware, etc... on your own, you and a lot of other people are going to be walking! With that said, I would still go here for casual lunches and get-togethers, especially for a fresher meal. But I probably wouldn't seek it out or bring my older relatives who would probably have a hard time in this environment.
I haven't been blown away by a restaurant in a long time but this was so fresh and so delicious that I have to let everyone know! I built my own salad and had wild rice soup and even though it's the next day I am still blown away by all it deliciousness.
This place is like Panera but I think is better. Portions are large and reasonably priced. They have great tea and desserts. Ordering online for pickup is very easy and fast.
I'll tell you what. Not only is their food top notch, great soups, salads and sandwiches, but their management is amazing. I spoke with Kris, one of the managers today about needing salads for an upcoming birthday party for my wife. I had no idea how much to order for the amount of people coming. He was patient, helpful, offer suggestions and even talked me into reducing the number of salads I had originally thought. He didn't want me to have too much waste! He also let me know of a current promotion they were offering that included a free variety of desserts. So I ended up ordering salads AND sandwiches, they threw in the chips AND desserts!! ALL of this for under what I thought I was going to have to pay for just the salads. I appreciate the great service and the incredible team they have at the Eagan store. I asked him whats the best way to review them, he mentioned Google Reviews and then he mentioned that its a team effort and to make sure they get credit. What a guy, a good leader, Great person to work with. Oh... one more thing... He's not the catering person! They were off today so Kris was doing his job AND the catering managers job! It's nice to know there is this kind of service still around. Thank you Kris and team. Thank you Zupas!
