My husband and I love to go to this Vietnamese and Chinese Restaurant when we come to Duluth. It is located in Canal Park and is conveniently located near our hotel. The staff is very friendly and the food is the greatest. I always get the Chicken Pho and my husband usually gets the Shrimp Fried Rice but they have many selections of both Vietnamese and Chinese food. They only use La Choy soy sauce which is gluten free so most of their dishes can be made gluten free. My husband is gluten intolerant and he has not had any problems with the food there but he is not highly sensitive.

This place tastes as white as Duluth in the winter. If you’ve eaten good Asian food before, it will be a disappointment, but if you like non-spicy food, you’ll like it. Not for me personally. The fortune cookie was the best tasting part.

the portion sizes are absolutely ginormous. it's piled on, and you are endlessly digging. you almost feel bad since you have so much left, and it looks like you barely ate - but you're so full. takeout boxes are common. when we were there i'm pretty sure everyone grabbed one LOL. i got the mock duck with special garlic sauce. really delicious. i don't know much about these types of dishes, but to me it was pretty good (:there was about a 5 minute wait max. an enormous amount of vegetarian options. usually there's about 3-5 at places but here was around 12. would go again!

Service was great and serve staff was very nice: 5 stars for their service. Food was some of the worst I've ever eaten (we've eaten throughout the US). Eggrolls were sour and mushy filling, you can tell they're not fresh and disgusting (we order eggrolls wherever we go and these are some of the worst), fried rice had no seasoning or color and was tossed with vegetables as fillers & topped with boiled shredded chicken (even the kids refused to eat - they said it was the worst fried rice they've ever eaten), pho was so plain (hot water and little salt plain) and thrown in with preboiled meats (meaning they were not cooked in the broth). First and absolutely last time there. I'm all about supporting local but this is absolutely autrocrocious food. Despite the horrible food (ZERO stars), the wait staff were great and I tipped them.

Worst Asian food ever ! We ordered the two dishes , Mongolian beef and house special lo mein. Both dishes came out with linguine ! Linguine is way starchier than a lo mein noodle . Both dishes were inedible , when I brought it up to the waiter he went and got what I guess was the owner or manager. She began to tell me that this restauranthad been there for 30 years and if I did not like the food I could leave ! To her credit she did refund us one dish . But we could not eat anything. The meal should have been completely free !

After walking around the waterfront in Duluth, in the -20 degree temps, I snuck into this little gem of a restaurant. Limited menu, but the Pho is worth the trip. Very flavorful broth, noodles, the accompanying vegetables and sauces really hit the spot. The service is friendly, but I can see it getting a little slow when they are busy at lunchtime. I would stick to the Pho and Vietnamese eggrolls. The Chinese dishes were mediocre. I have been here 4 times and enjoyed it very much.

If you've never had real Vietnamese pho, you'd think this was good. But I have been a pho-natic for years and know what real authentic pho is and how it's made. Comparing this place to a pho place in the cities, this place lacks some things for being an actual pho restaurant such as tripe, star anise, red chili flake oil and Thai basil. The fried items seemed like it was either refried or the frying oil was old or dark and burnt as the wontons were dark and really hard to chew as well as the egg rolls and sesame chicken. The pho broth seemed like it was diluted and bland with lots of onions in it. Also, the portions for $11.95 were smaller than I'd expect. The service was not too bad as most places this day in age are under staffed and our food came out within minutes of ordering. I'd say give this place a try, but it could be much better and more authentic.

It's OK but if you've never had authentic pho, you'd know authentic pho is so much better! I've been a pho-natic for years and have tried many places in the twin cities as well as living with a Vietnamese family. They lacked Vietnamese menu items like Thai basil and tripe. The menu could use a description for what each meal is or has in it. The broth seemed watered down, not very flavorful and full of onions. The portion seemed small for being almost $12, whereas most pho restaurants are only about $9 with a bigger serving and even bigger sizes available. The egg rolls and anything fried seemed hard, dark brown and chewy like it was refried or the fryer oil was old/burnt. The service was ok and friendly but like a lot of places they seemed under staffed. Good ahead and give them a try if you're in the area.

Fast service, big portions, and the best General Tso’s chicken I’ve had so far!

Absolutely fast and delicious. Vegan options galore including a mock duck out of seitan! A good hot meal to warm you up!
