Not authentic. Not even chips & salsa.... But, they recovered by frying tortillas and making a handmade chip - That's more authentic..!!! Owner is the type that tries to convince a Mexican that this is how they make food... And no,, elotes don't use taco sauce.... An extra star trying
Not authentic. Tiny tacos at a big price. No flavor, meat is not cut correctly so it is tough. Salsa is flavorless. Positive: it’s clean
Tacos were bland with dry meat, undercooked tortillas and sparse amounts of ingredients..I guess I’m spoiled with authentic Mexican food in the cities. Please don’t explain what a ‘street taco’ is.. I’m well aware and have had many authentic tacos at Mexican Mercado’s in my neighborhood!I was excited to try this place because of the reviews.Although the atmosphere and customer service was excellent, the tacos were terrible and way too expensive for the quality.Maybe they were having an off day!?
Fantastic option in a town known for fast food Mexican options. I had the beef torta while my brother had the pork torta, and they were both excellent! We had a few minutes to talk to the owner too, he was interested in how things were going in Florida (we mentioned we got used to this kind of Mexican at home in St. Pete) and we had a nice discussion. Be sure to go to this place!
The tacos were very good (particularly the lengua) and I enjoyed the generous amounts of cilantro, onions, radish and lime that accompanied the tacos. The elote alone was well worth the visit, but there are plenty of other options from the menu that I'd like to give a try (like the torta). The spicy salsa was Duluth-level spicy (meaning warm), but the flavor was quite good. This is well worth a visit if you're looking for authentic Mexican cuisine.
So I got their version of steak tacos I got eight of them and a small drink although they were very authentic and probably the only authentic Mexican food you can get in town or anywhere on the side of the border it’s very expensive for eight tacos and one small drink I paid 40 it was like $47 with the tip they don’t have like rice and beans and stuff like sides that you’d get any where else. you just get the tacos and the lime and whatever comes on them The food is very good but very expensive I can’t imagine any family of four going in there and not spending over $100
These tacos are out of this world- I haven't had tacos like this since I left Cali. I had the al pastor, lengua, and chorizo Tacos. It was so good a stopped by twice in the same day.
After moving to Duluth, I haven't been able to find good Al Pastor meat anywhere that matched some of the places I had moved away from and I am so thrilled that I can walk here. They're so good. I want to cone every day.
Great tacos, true Mexican style. Felt like back at home.
We are visiting from Indiana and this place was recommended to us from our relatives who live in Duluth! The tacos are amazing and the owner is so nice. We decided to go here on our anniversary because eating tacos on our anniversary is one of our traditions. Once the owner heard it was our anniversary they personally went next door and got us a couple of chocolate truffles from the Duluth Chocolate Company. Their mild sauce was amazing. We both got the Al Pastor tacos and they were delicious!
