My daughter just moved to Duluth and we tried Sammy's Pizza last night. We each ordered a couple pizza's and shared the Pesto bread. Everything was EXCELLENT!! GREAT old school pizzeria!! As it should be. Our family owns our own pizzeria, so we know our pizza!! This is GOOD pizza!!
Super good pizza... Standard issue pepperoni and sausage pizzas is what we had but the sauce and crust are as good as it gets, sausage was more than flavorful. Keep ya posted on others we try. Will def b goin back ?
Pretty good pizza. we have a pizza place in my home town that is better though, sorry to say.
Coming up on 4 years ago we visited Duluth for our honeymoon. To this very day we still talk about the food we had. We were really tried the night we wanted pizza.It was a lot of fun visiting with the guys in the kitchen as we waiting for our pizza. They were so kind.I loved this pizza. Still compare what we have back home to what we had on our honeymoon
The pizza was good and the drinks were cold. Service was good enough and people had a smile on their faces. What else can you ask for?

I think I’ve been to all of them, across the country, certainly in MN, and this one is the best. I’ve been eating the pepperoni and sausage since I was a kid. When I get back to Duluth, our first stop is always west Duluth Sammy’s.The sausage they use on their pizza, there’s nothing like it anywhere. Even if you think you don’t like sausage, you have to get the sausage. It’s real Italian sausage.The crust at west Duluth Sammy’s is the best. Light, crumbly. Perfect. I just stopped by again last weekend and was shocked to see my review from many years ago is no longer on here. So here is my new review.Go now to any Sammy’s if you like pizza. Go to west Duluth Sammy’s if you want the best pizza.While we were there we also tried the breaded wings. Absolutely delicious. The breaded wings dunked in some Sammy’s red sauce was great. I’ll definitely be ordering it again.Go now to Sammy’s!
I had the displeasure of working there and I will never eat their again. At least anything that isn't pizza isn't worth your time. If the owners brother isn't there the meet is microwaved and fake. No brown people on staff. Expensive for cheap materials. I was in the end fired for no reason. Pay is garbage too. Passive aggressively bullied because I was paid more than everyone else. Never again. Not worth it.

Pizza was great! Good cheese bread. Patient waitress with the little ones at our table. Wonderful, quick service.
