We ordered ribeye (medium), very very tough. We ordered jumbo shrimp broiled, also tough and had an off flavor. Prices were high, which you advertise due to Covid, hmm. We should have complained, but not our style. Luckily we had a gift card to help pay for half. We have been here several times, and order the same dinners. Usually very good, hence why we kept coming back. Service was excellent!
I had the ribeye with the mashed garlic and Gouda cheese potatoes. Great good and exceptional service. Definitely worth the price and would visit again the next time I'm in town.

This restaurant has been in business for over 100 years. It’s a classic throw back when restaurants were fine dining. Had a window seat, and the server did a good job. The food we had was tasty, served reasonably quickly, and was prepared properly. We appreciated the ambiance and liked it lacked a sports bar feeling. Menu is priced according to market, in other words, steak is not cheap, but based on meat prices at grocery stores, was appropriately priced. Enjoyable visit
My husband and I wanted to celebrate a special occasion and had to decide where to go in Duluth. We chose the Pickwick and it was just perfect!!! We both had the fillet with asparagus and twice baked potatoes. Was seriously the best meal we’ve had out in a long time! Half price bottles of wine, on Wednesdays, was a nice surprise. Clair was our waitress and she did an incredible job attending to us. We can’t wait to go back!! Thank you, Pickwick and staff!
Service and food were great. We had the prime rib and we believe it’s the best we’ve ever had. The gouda mashed potatoes were awesome. And topped it off with a grasshopper that was great as well. Can’t wait to come visit again!

Was the Best steaks we have ever had hands down!!! We travel a lot through out the us mostly in Texas and Oklahoma and we have never came across a steak this amazing! Everything else we had was also amazing! The service was perfect kind made you feel like friends/family ?! I'm extremely happy we chose here for dinner! Last yr we tried to and it was closed or something because of covid but we made it back and it was extremely worth it!!!! A definite must and we will be back! 110% worth the money!
Place is an institution. Beautiful, classic joint. Missing the finer details for a place like this. Poor china and glassware. No coat check... looked like a sports bar with all the jackets on the chairs. Loaded potato looked like it had been sitting in the warmed for hours. Steak was flavorful but thin. Waitress was hesitant to wipe off table or replace dirty silverware. An average experience at best. Yawn.
