Amazing server named Ernie who went above and beyond by his kindness when there with my daughter. The salsa is addictive and wonderful. My Tres Maria Enchilada were delicious! The cheese enchilada was a little hard to cut with my fork (slightly overcooked) but the cheese was so flavorful. It was a fantastic dinner.
Phenomenal. Zero wait time despite being a busy night. Food arrived less than 10 minutes after ordering. Easily the best Mexican restaurant in town. 10/10 would recommend.
It is a more stylized type of Mexican food but the view is beautiful and the food was fantastic. The Al Pastor is amazing and highly recommended.. Our waiter, Ernie, was attentive and personable. Definitely will be back!
Unique setting and great servers set this place apart. We popped out to view the sunset on the harbor while our food was being made. Come for the mexican food and drinks, stay for the fried ice cream!
Mexico Lindo Mexico Lindo is one of the few Mexican restaurants in Duluth, and I think it’s the best in town. It’s located inside the Fitger’s building on the top floor with amazing views of the lake. Mexico Lindo has more to offer than just a good view; it also has a great menu, and it has great service and hospitality. I visited on January 12th, 2022. As soon as I walk in, I am greeted by a large, open room that has lots of seating, so even on busy nights I can always get a table. While the restaurant is very open, it is still separated into some sections. The largest section is where the majority of the seating is, and it has a traditional Mexican decor with colorful paintings on the wall and windows that let in natural light. There’s also a bar area with some TV’s (playing sports) and neon signs decorating the walls. This room isn’t dominated by the bar, though; it has a few booths where people can sit. The bar is dimmer than the rest of the restaurant. The third room has a beautiful view of the lake, and it has slightly more seating than the bar does. It’s mainly used when there are too many people to seat in the other two rooms, which doesn’t happen often. Lastly, in the summer, there is a deck outside that has direct access to the lakewalk. It has red, wrought-iron tables and chairs you can sit on. The other rooms have green, cushioned booths and wooden tables and chairs. Mexico Lindo always has some Mexican tunes to listen to, and anyone can even request specific songs if you want. The problem with this was that it could get loud at times. My family and I go to Mexico Lindo together, and when we get there, our host shows us to our booth near the bar. Once we sit down, a friendly waiter gives us a menu, and another server brings us free chips and salsa. The chips are crunchy and warm, and the salsa is cool with a medium consistency. The menu has lots of options. It has burritos, quesadillas, fajitas, tacos, and enchiladas. The entrees are priced around 10-14 dollars. The drinks menu also has lots to offer. For kids, they have lemonade, sodas, and water. For adults, they have beers and specialty margaritas. I order the burrito chipotle and a pink lemonade. The lemonade comes in a tall Mexican soda glass. It’s chilled and has a mild lemon flavor. It’s a little sugary, but not too much so. The burrito chipotle has a layer of chipotle and cheese sauce drizzled over the actual burrito that adds to the flavor and taste tremendously. Inside, it has beans, rice, and marinated chicken. The chicken’s marinade complements the chipotle sauce very nicely, and together; it makes an amazing burrito. The tortilla is soft and pillowy, the beans are thick, the rice is a great added texture, and the chicken’s sweet and spicy marinade is a great added taste. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a good Mexican restaurant in Duluth. The service was great, and my family’s waiter was really nice. All the food was delicious as well. Everything from the chips and salsa to the burrito chipotle was amazing, and I would definitely visit again. Overall, I would give Mexico Lindo an 8.5/10 rating.
A favorite stop when in Duluth for some great Mexican food. Service is always great. Nice big menu with lots of options. It's all good.
I have the fish bowl Margarita and make your own combo taco. Everything was Great,But the free chips and a half off margarita. It was a really good Thursday. Thanks Marsha! what a wonderful bartender!
I give Mexico Lindo a 5. My daughter definitely will go back and the price isn't outrageous. Great place for families to go for any meal.
In Duluth this is the only good Mexican spot and it has the best view too. Good portions and they bring a nice size salsa container to your table with chips. Good drinks and crowd. I hit this spot everyone time I’m in Duluth.
Great service and great place. We asked to be seated by a window so we could see lake superior and had a great view! Ordered two meals and ended up with enough food for probably 8 people with normal prices! Good hospitality and service from waitresses and waiters. This place is a must!
