This place is one of our family favorites! I usually get a small sub and cheese curds. I specify small sub because I could NEVER finish a whole, the small is HUGE! Two people could easily split a small sub! They are fresh and delicious every time! Well worth the drive out to Gary New Duluth! Their pizza and other items are just as good too, never shy with their portions.Make sure you check their hours before heading out.
We eat from Hugos quite often because we live down the road. Last night was the first night we tried their pizza. My husband, son and I tried the Taco Pizza and the Deluxe/Specialty. The taco pizza was hands down my favorite pizza I've ever had!!We couldn't wait to try the pizza before I took a picture haha.
It must be a night "off". I ordered a small lasagna with an extra slice of garlic bread. Upon opening, the lasagna was deconstructed. the sauce was amazing but chunky! The meal was luke warm and tasted microwaved. I'll try again because the sauce is so good. *Sidenote* I was told 5 p.m. so the driver who came back from delivery took my name. The young woman was so friendly when she came out! Unless it had been sitting 15 minutes, it shouldn't have been luke warm with hard cheese. I recommend a second try but not sure when. There are many places with hot, fresh lasagna.
Awesome food always great service. Portions are huge and definitely a good deal! A large sub and Chef salad feeds 3 adults easily!

Ordered the Philly Steak Sub. Big subs like they normally serve. One of the best Philly Steak subs I've had. Their Chicken Parmesan sub is great too. If you want a Sub bigger than just about any place out there, then come get some Hugo's Subs!
The subs are HUGE! The roll the subs are on are fresh and very tasty. Not only are the subs huge but the portions on everything else are HUGE and the prices are very good. We had a few subs and a melt. Wasn't disappointed! Only thing I would suggest is slimming down the menu, but if you need a wide variety they got it!
