Went to Hoops last night to sample some beers. Sat right at the bar. The bartender working there must have walked by us five or six times like we weren't even there. As we sat there a man walked up beside me with an empty glass and the bartender came right over and filled his glass then walked off. When he finally decided to address we were there I asked him if they served and wine as my wife does not drink beer. He pointed to another small bar in the corner that was closed and said ( rudely) if that is what you want just go there. At that point I put down the beer flight sheet I was filling out and we left. Would not ever spend a dime there ever. Terrible experience. I also would not even give the place one star but it is the lowest rating it will let you use.

Love the variety and friendly staff

First time going was earlier this year. Wait staff is amazing!!!! Highly recommend the flights!!!

A must hit-up if you’re staying at the hotel across the foyer. Something like 20 beers on tap, friendly staff, and they encourage grabbing food to-go from the area restaurants and enjoying your food in their wonderful and spacious uh, space. Tons of board games, ping pong, and did I mention there’s a beer for everyone no matter what your taste?

Great beer and bartenders

Fantastic atmosphere. Beer hall + board games galore. You can order flights in any number and they come in the most adorable little glasses. Unique beers - we loved the Wood Smoked Hefeweizen (no. 99) and the Chili Pepper Ale (no. 325). No food but they have lots of bar snacks and locally made Bavarian pretzels. Family friendly, helpful staff. Already looking forward to our next visit.

Went last week to grab a beer at the bar and watch the Masters. Tons of seating, BYOF. Awesome beers and our server - Brennan? - was really nice & helpful guiding us through the menu. We enjoyed his recommendations, Will be back!

Poor experience, most of the servers weren't super knowledgeable about the beer, most were college kids who were barely old enough to drink so it's not surprising. Bartenders weren't much help either, you would order a beer and it would come in a certain size glass and if you didnt know in advance you couldn't change it. Seems really easy to get over served and was kind of irresponsible considering how alcoholic some of their beers are. Speaking of beer, most really weren't good, maybe two were fine. Nothing special. Nice place if you're a tourist I suppose.

Hoops Brewing has never been cool, but now it’s rubbing off on better bars. The worst local brewery, and now they hate rock and roll. I’ll not set foot in here ever again. I’ll take down this post if Hoops Brewing stops their assault on local art and artists.

Fine if you're a tourist I guess. about two of their beers are good, they have a tendency to over serve people too.
