In short, I love this place. Easily the best coffee roaster in town.It's busy a lot of the time, but the baristas are very quick and the coffee always perfect. Not acidic or bitter in any way.Really recommend picking up their bags of coffee which can be found almost anywhere in the city.

After having various collaboration products made with Duluth coffee, it was time to try the real thing. Starbucks this is not. This is not a breakfast/lunch and coffee place, this is a COFFEE place! The roaster, prominently located in the middle of the store space, shows what Duluth Coffee is all about - coffee. There is not a large menu of 96 different coffee syrups or frou-frou drinks. The coffee, I chose the Americano, is deep, rich, and aromatic. Precisely what I think coffee should be. This is THE place for true coffee aficionados. You can get your lemon poppy seed muffin somewhere else.
Asked the barista for the latte flavors available & ended up selecting Home-made Chai. It does not disappoint. Thank you Duluth Coffee Co!
Friendly staff. The space was pretty small, with limited seating. We didn't like the espresso...ours was sour.
Came in for a coffee and to do some work on my laptop. The two staff were very rude, acting very annoyed that I came up to the counter like I interrupted their conversation. The ambiance was pretty unpleasant because of how the staff’s conversation echos through the place. The acoustics might be better with louder music and more people because when it’s empty it feels like any talking is yelling.The bathroom code didn’t work and since the staff had already been so rude, I decided to just leave.Also, I don’t mind paying for good coffee. Key word is good. For almost $5, I want my vanilla cappuccino to be what I expect. Instead, I got a poorly made latte.Too bad, I used to like this place.
Tried to enter, met with locked doors. Turns out this place closes at 2? Yet the open was illuminated. Brilliant.
