So, here's the deal. I ordered their Classic Lucy for delivery and received a 90% raw burger (see photos). I called them and requested that it be remade. I explained the condition of the burger and was placed on hold so a manager could be consulted. I was then informed that there was nothing that they could do as it was delivered and that they would not provide me with a refund nor a replacement lunch. I was told that I should "call ahead next time to make sure that it is cooked." I did not realize I had to specify that my burger should be cooked. Juicy Lucy-style burgers are hard to cook, I get that. However, don't have them on your menu if you can't actually cook them. I can understand mishaps happen and was okay to wait for a replacement or even just a refund of the cost of the burger. I am extremely disappointed in the management's decision to not attempt to correct the issue when it was brought to their attention AND that they said I should call ahead to ensure future meals are cooked. Come on.
Did you know juicy Lucy is supposed to be filled with cheese? ? One bite into my Lucy I realized there was no juice. This piece of meat was drier than the sahara desert. This burger could not be any drier if I finished it in the back of my car!Lenny was a hoot.10/10! Would recommend
I have been to this restaurant multiple times. Usually the service and food is very good. However, our server Danielle was especially rude. She would leave the table while we were talking to her, brought the bill while we were still eating, and made us feel like an inconvenience. She made a remark about not wanting us in her section when we were sat there, asked us if we would move… she didn’t even introduce herself, she just said “I guess I’ll be your server”… we were afraid to ask her questions about the menu or for refills. We were always very respectful to her and are usually high-tipping customers, but I have never received service that bad. The only reason that this review is higher than one star is because the food was really good. Compliments to the chef, it’s a nice restaurant, but Danielle was very disrespectful and it nearly ruined our experience.
Great burgers, large tap beer selection, fantastic atmosphere and wait staff is pretty incredible.
I have been to Crooked Pint in Duluth multiple times, and every time I have gotten the burgers or sandwiches they had very small amounts of protein. This is a bummer seeing as the food is so good as I'm left always wanting more, and the prices are so high for the amount received every time. Yes, the burgers and sandwiches are served with a side which plays into the price, yet the main course is always small.
I got the chicken tacos and my hubby got a classic Lucy! We both enjoyed them. If you don't like spice the tacos were a little more than I prefer but overall they were very good. Hubby loved his Lucy and the fries were piping hot! Pair those with a couple of good beers with great service and you have yourself a successful lunch date on a much needed day off!
One of the greatest places in the known universe. All hype aside, the Lucy of the month is 10.99 and always a good change up to their classic menu. The wait staff are very friendly and helpful too!
The service was excellent. Seated right away and a prompt, helpful server. A manager also stopped at our table to check on us. The food was mediocre for me, and I probably wouldn't go again, only because there wasn't much I would eat.
Great food great service! ❤️
Love this place. The service is always great and the food is good too. Never had a bad meal here. For a small chain neighborhood place it has some surprising flashes of brilliance too. Their clubhouse, for example, is incredible- and I never thought I’d say those words out loud together in English. Bravo to you folks for making the placeholder of sandwiches into something truly special.
