This is the cutest little place to get authentic Mexican food! We had the Cochinera bowl and it was AMAZING! It’s a must when in Canal Park! Very friendly staff and great food!
Flavor tsunami incoming! Watch out! Chachos Tacos and Tamales are mouth watering deliciousness served up hot and quick! Crunchy Birria beef tacos with dipping sauce combines crispy shell and tender meat an absolute chef’s kiss! Tamales for days! Served in a Maize husk, these tamales can come with extra meat and veg! Take it from he get these loaded! Will be back fo sho! Do yourself a flavor favor and get over there! 10 outta 10 recommend!
Had the chicken taco, honestly, chicken wasn't very flavorful... Overall taco tasted ok with the pico and onions, but it was also quite small, literally 4 bites so a buck a bite.., was ok, but not 4.25 worth unfortunately... Wanted dessert too but didn't have any yet... Said would be a few weeks away yet... Eh... 3/5. (also, the picture on their site showing tacos isn't what you get with ordering the menu item. It shows 3 but you only get 1...)
Amazing! Delicious food, wonderful staff and great atmosphere. can't wait to go back!
friendly and helpful staff, great recommendations, great food. The Beef Birria was delicious. loved the pork tamales with the green salsa! we will be back
First of all, so glad to have an authentic taco option in Duluth!Birria taco was yummy and the broth was too. Corn salad was really tasty! Tamale was yummy and definitely authentic. Veggie option was ok, probably should have asked if we could add sour cream and cheese (cool that there is a vegan option though!)Would have liked a bit more food for the price- as previous commenters have said, three tacos would make a meal.Combined with a beer from Hoops, it made a nice lunch!I’m sure it will be super popular when Canal park is hopping. We will be back outside of those times :-)
I had the Birria tacos and Esquite, both were amazing! I’ll definitely be back
I don’t know why everyone seems to be bashing this place. I thought the tacos were good. Not much seasoning though for the meat. If you’re going to have only three taco options you need to do them really well, they were done just okay. I prefer the small menu I just don’t think you guys have the recipe down yet respectfully. Also slightly steep on the price but I understand with rising cost, but like $3 for a taco or $3.50 for the size seems more reasonable. Or at least do a deal for like 3 tacos for $10 or something. I would love to try you guys again when you have all the meat options available and hone in on flavors a little better. Birra tacos were good, but not as good as others I’ve had. Solid place, would try again and hope they figure out the seasoning a little better. Salsa verde was also the most mild I’ve ever had which didn’t help the already lacking flavor of the first taco on their menu.
$6 for a tamale. Give me a break. 4.25 for a taco. Give me a break. I’m moving back to Mpls.
If you are looking for an authentic taqueria this ain't it.Pros: Not busyCons: Greedy gringos. Take forever to put a simple order together.Over priced food. A taco should not be $4 and a tamale should not cost $6. Who sells a tamale with no filling just to charge you more for the toppings that should be inside?!? Tacos are bland and not like they are supposed to be. Increase your menu size, take a trip down to Mexico and learn how to actually make tacos, and then maybe I'll come back to this place that profits off my culture's food.
