Really enjoyed the mexican bowl I ordered. The portions were large and the toppings were very on-point. Would love to see a gluten-free bun option for the burgers/sandwiches, but I get that it's not the niche.
Great service good food and a great time if your snowmobiling the end of Feb for the Vintage run.
Normally I absolutely love eating at buffalo house, but two days ago we had a not so great meal. We ordered burgers and fries to go, our burgers were super dry, no seasoning, tasted weird. Both my husband and I were ill that night. I called the next day to let them know and the response was mediocre at best. They didn’t ask my name or contact info, no apology for my bad experience, no offer to compensate us in any way, no questions asked about what we ate or really to ask any details. I was simply told that the kitchen would be informed. I’m not looking for any compensation for this experience but it’s kinda important that you guys take it seriously when someone calls to inform you they were ill after eating there….I will of course eat there again in the future because I understand sometimes bad meals just happen. I just wish the person I talked to made me feel like they were listening to me and not just placating me on the phone and then ignoring the issue…
This Place has it all, never thought I'd Find a knock off Monte Cristo Sandwich, albeit way overpriced 12.99 and a $2 upcharge for choosing sweet Patatoes fries. If you ask me I'd switch it around. $2 upcharge for regular fries and make way more $$$ . Maybe encourage a healthier option vs carb loaded fupa maker. Very interesting Menu I will be back with updates for now stay away from the Monte Cresto Donut.
It was nice to finally get the family out to a restaurant after no restaurants for nearly a year because of covid. Also this is close to Elys Peak!
I just bought a $17 salad way not worth it I just hope the pricing is messed up and they review it because it's Cobb salad is really good but not $17 good
Quick, friendly service. Pancakes were huge. Sausage links had been cooked by way of the deep fryer, which caused them to be a little dry inside. Biscuits and gravy was just that: Biscuits and gravy. No sausage in the gravy. Very bland tasting. I will have breakfast there again, just order other items.
We really enjoy a family run, This is a clean Home-Style restaurant & Bar. Had the house onion rings, they were fresh and tender-crispy, very good!! Bloody-Marys were Faboluse, It is the honest pour, sidecart beer & MOSTLY house made mix that makes this a Great cocktail. Prices are Honest, We were happy with the friendly service, it was a busy day so expect a small wait and order your drink when your server first greets you. Highly recommended and we will Return to sample more of the Menu.
This place has been here forever, but last night was the first time I've been to Buffalo House in like 50 years. I didn't know what to expect....I thought aftr 50 years, this place would be just a local bar with bar food. NOPE...everything we had was top notch and very reasonably priced. We enjoyed a steak dinner, seafood enchilados, Chicken Ceasar sandwich and a the Wyatt Earp, a local favorite. The sandwiches were big enough for two to share and the locally sourced steak was perfect. We sat in the bar, but the resturant had booths big enough for 8 people! Will definitely go back.
The restaurant is just the tip of the ice berg here, Buffalo House has camp grounds, volley ball, yard games and tons of space. It can handle big events. Or just drop in. Good food, American fare, with enormous servings. Right off the munger trail, I've accidently biked here before and ended up ordering nachos and beer to enjoy on the deck. Great outdoor seating if weather allows.
