Incredible breakfast experience on a busy Friday morning. We ordered the Florentine Eggs Benedict and the Pancakes after reading other reviews. I added granola, walnuts and blueberries to the pancakes and WOW! It’s well-worth the price ?? Amazing maple syrup and mascarpone come with it too. I ordered an americano which was larger than expected, which was a nice surprise.The service was also top-notch. Our server was friendly and attentive, and I could tell she seemed genuinely pleased to be serving us. Not something you see everyday! The vibe was warm and welcoming and we even bought a few used books from their ‘bookstore’ corner.I can’t wait to go back with my friend who is Gluten Free!
Get the hippie farm breakfast or the cranberry wild rice French toast with stout beer syrup! We enjoyed flipping through the old books for sale while waiting for our food and the great views of Lake Superior.
Excellent soba noodle salad and rueben sandwich. Coffee was stellar as well. Fast, friendly service in a comfortable setting.

The pancakes are amazing and huge!
The prices are high, but the food and atmosphere are great! The bottle of wine I purchased was fantastic, and the selection of books to just read while you are there, or books to purchase are a really nice touch. Would recommend to chill vegetarian/vegans who want a nice environment. Would recommend the breakfast burrito to all my fellow meat eaters. There is something here for just about everyone!
