Second-time here and just as impressed as my initial visit. The pancakes are light, fluffy and scrumptious. The eggs are cooked to perfection and they serve warm maple syrup! I hate when you are served cold syrup. They offer a variety of pancakes, but the original is more than fine. Most things here are a la Carter, so don't just assume your pancakes (unless you order the 4 & 2) come with eggs and bacon. The coffee mugs are works of art and are available for purchase. Very friendly staff here with prompt service.
Exceptional food, service and cleanliness. Service by a young woman that has only been there three weeks. This server was everything that my great-aunts in Hayward, WI had taught me to be. Pleasant, calm decor, what more could a guest ask for. We loved our second breakfast out in more than two years because of Covid. Thank you for a lovely dinner experience having breakfast here.
Soooo stuffed! Great pancakes, and omelettes. We got the meat lover’s version of the omelette and their famous pancake; definitely should have gotten the one with strawberries.You need to be prepared to wait 20 to 30 minutes but is why you download movies and shows on Netflix.
Many choices for your breakfast and brunch. My favorite was fresh squeeze orange juice which is hard to find in restaurants. Good service and coffee
My husband and myself tried The Original Pancake House in Burnsville Mn. It couldn’t have been a better experience. Food was fantastic! Our service was great. We had fresh squeezed OJ waffles with lots of fresh berries and whipped cream Yum. Already made reservations for next Sunday but bringing the whole family.

My wife and I visited this restaurant on a weekday morning and the place was almost full, and seniors were not in the majority. We only had to wait about 5 minutes for a seat and our waitstaff rep. was outstanding. Madeline E. took care of us from the moment we sat down until we were ready to leave. We were given ample time to review the extensive menu, received glasses of water and cups of coffee while we were selecting our breakfast items. Make sure to be hungry when visiting this restaurant because the serving sizes are very generous; you certainly receive your money's worth. The Apple Pancake my wife ordered was the very best and so large that we had enough to take home and have another meal from it. We are already looking forward to a return trip to this great restaurant and only hope that we can get Madeline E. for our server.

Everything is so good! The hashbrowns are worth the trip alone - crispy outside, tender inside. Great service too. Plan ahead and make a reservation or you will be waiting!
