On our way back to Farmington for a conference, had to stop by for Birria tacos. We pride ourselves in having tasted some fine tacos in Texas… now Taco Chon is a winner in my book! They have Lengua,Tripa, Camarones, and even Vegan options, which are rarely found at the regular taco joints! Price is reasonable, staff are bilingual so I did not butcher my order LOL. Support their American dream, y’all!
First time trying this place, ordered a chimichanga, quesadilla, and churro for takeout. Food was delicious and tasted fresh. Churro was the BOMB! Best I've had so far! However, I ordered them both with sour cream and salsa, and only received sour cream cups with them, no salsas. I dont know if the staff forgot or they intentionally not put salsas because of the layout of the takeout box, as in "no more open spaces for them" although I think they would fit perfectly fine. If they don't fit, I suggest redesigning the takeout boxes. If it was a mistake, please don't forget next time.Edit: found a chunk of plastic in the other half of my burrito that I decided to save for later. Disgusting. I guess I gave too much credit too soon. Have to lower my rating from 4 to 2 stars.

From the sign over the door, to the great tasting, real food on your plate, there is absolutely no confusion over which dining establishment you're at.

The food and atmosphere is absolutely authentic and amazing. I hardly can get my one year old to eat and he enjoyed the food as well. Our family will be coming back soon to try more food on the menu.

After seeing the Facebook ads I decided to try this place. It was around dinner time when I arrived and they appeared to be in the middle of several orders. No acknowledgment when I arrived and waited 5-8 minutes for someone to say they would take my order shortly. The dining room had several tables finishing up and appeared to be relatively clean . The food was very good and hot and worth the wait.
