Very nice open and airy concept. I ordered the royal kabob feast with rice and the steak was over cooked yet still good. The Greek salad ( fresh and crisp)was probably the best I have ever had. My daughter had the Gyro with vegetables and rice which she thought was delicious. The baklava was fantastic. Service was pretty good once you got their attention.
Here in the cities for work craving Mediterranean food. Drove by restaurants then found Mediterranean Cruise cafe on a Google search. OMG, I chose the Mediterranean combo platter, grape leaves and the spinach mushroom pasta with shrimp. Fantastic! I have lots of leftovers to share. The staff (Leanna) was friendly and they make you feel like you’re a regular. When I’m in the cities again I will definitely be ordering once again.
This is such a gem of place in the Twin Cities! Such a unique building with belly dancing and even salsa! The staff are welcoming and the menu is extensive. Great for a chic dress up night but still somehow casual. -- The salsa dance floor is way too crowded, which they know but there is pressure to keep more tables set up. Getting badly hurt from heels stepping on the top of my foot keeps me dancing there anymore but it is amazing otherwise.
This was a fun place to dine -- dinner and a show (belly dancing). The ecstatic of the restaurant makes it feel like you're not in cold Minnesnowta anymore. I liked how spacious and high the ceilings were. We love lamb, so we were excited to see lamb chops, lamb kabobs, and rack of lamb on the menu. And of course we ordered it. Delicious! Tender and flavorful. In fact, everything we had was delicious. They even fried up the bread as a special request by my fiance because he wanted something crunchy with his hummus. Service was good. Entertainment was enjoyable. This was probably one of our most favorite dining experiences.
We had a great experience last night! Our food was delicious and came to the table way faster than expected. We ordered the dinner for two and had plenty to take home to enjoy the next day. Our waiter did an awesome job and was friendly and polite, the atmosphere was so fun! This is a great stop! Absolutely the creamiest hummus I’ve ever had!
This place is sooooo amazingly delicious! They have belly dancers on certain nights as well as musicians sometimes for entertainment. The restaurant itself is beautiful and spacious. I love Mediterranean food and if you do as well, definitely give this place a try.
I'd give this more stars, however I can't justify it. We recently went on Valentine's day, it wasn't busy, but it took about a half hour to get served. Once we did, she was absolutely fantastic and made sure we had a great rest of our experience. My filet mignon was overcooked but still delicious. Great atmosphere and pretty decent food (:
A friend and I had dinner here on a Saturday night. Great food and service. Waiter was very knowledgeable and helpful in helping us find menu options that would work with our vegan and GF dietary restrictions. The belly dancing show was an added bonus! It was quite the experience and would highly recommended it!
A traditional gyro should be served with good lamb and fries. Well done presentation and the taste is great. I also appreciate that they have a garlic sauce instead of the regular sauce which has dairy. The garlic sauce may look funny but tastes amazing. The curry for the GG is also awesome. Service is great and they are very accommodating.
I visit places based on reviews and genuinely write reviews to help folks who loves rich flavor of food. I love Mediterranean food particularly baklava for dessert and chicken kebab's are my favorites. The restaurant setting is very good, well decorated with good lighting, suitable color scheme. let's talk about food, we ordered Mediterranean for two.First comes Pita bread which was disappointment for me, it tasted nothing like pita bread. Greek salad and lentil soup , my husband likes Greek salad from other places but this was sour and watery , may be they prepare the salad with dressing(vinegar) and keep in the freeze too long before they serve. For the Mazza plates, it comes with two falafel's and two dolama's. I liked falafel, it was well cooked inside and crispy outside. Dolamas leaves were not tender hard to chew. For Entrees, Cruise Feast and filet Mignon Kabob (add $6 for later). Cruise Feast comes with saffron rice, chicken kebab and lamb Gyros. I loved flavorful saffron rice. Chicken kebab was not well marinated , it was bland, kind of bitter and not smoky either.Beef Filet Mignon in other hand was okay, well marinated than chicken and had smoky flavor to it.Finally came walnut Baklava, our server gave heads up they only had walnut baklava, which we were fine with. we love to experiment with food. Baklava had hard crust , and chewy, I don't know if walnut baklava tasted such, I have always loved pistachio baklava soft and rich.We also had experience with not very welcoming server, given the pandemic I ignored it.I would say this is below average place given the high price and ambience , after all taste is what matters at the end!!
