I ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ the food and service. Great staff and place to chill.Jack, is my favorite bartender! He's kind, and courteous with an impressive work ethic. All of the bartender are awesome, too be honest. (Jack pictured) Let's not forget that awesome ALL DAY HAPPY HOUR! YESSSSS! Who does that? Mc Tap House does, that's who!Many people don't know but McTap House serves Breakfast until 2pm daily. I usually order the sampler with the awesome gouda cheese hashbrowns, they are so DELICIOUS. Get the bacon, the sausage is yuck. To spice things up I add veggies to my eggs. (Picture attached)The old menu. My favorite items are Bacon Wrapped Prawns, Mussels, The Wedge & Chopped Salads, Prime Rib French Dip, Italian Ribeye Grinder, Turkey Club, and the AMAZING Beignets! Yes, Beignets as in New Orleans. Yummmm. The powdered sugar are my favorites. Huge portions, come hungry. Try everything I suggested, then Thank Me later. ? You're Welcome lolNow let's get to the good stuff, the new menu! The Corn Chowder is delish, add jalapeños cornbread to it for another delightful treat. The Rigatoni with Andouille sausage is also good. I added chicken, mushrooms with a little bacon to spice this up. The have many another things I cannot wait to try....The Shrimp & Grits, Salmon BLT Sandwich, Stuff Rivoli, The Huge Pork Chop, The Chicken Avocado Flat Bread & The Brownie & Raspberry creme dessert!Enjoy your time there! Honestly I was wary of this place given some of the reviews but I have not a negative to speak. I wish I would have gotten our waitress' name- a very sweet blonde gal working 4/28 around 7pm and was so accommodating. She let us move to a larger table when one became available and was so kind and attentive. Super efficient staff clearing tables, too. Tried a few sandwiches amongst our group and they were all delicious. Seasoned sour cream came in a container WITH A LID- every other restaurant, please take note.
Very fun place to eat and watch sports, great food and drinks no matter what you order on their menu, I specifically recommend the blueberry jullip drink!
Shrimp gnocchi pesto pasta dish had watered down sauce. Margherita flatbread was very salty and the chicken lime salad grilled chicken was dry. Food presentation on point but the entree was very disappointing.
I don't have the pictures to prove it but we did steak and baked potatoes for our weekly Take Out Tuesday and it was SO GOOD. I was shocked at how large the baked potato was and the steak, though take out, was still cooked as I'd like it. It was delicious and I can't wait to go there and eat a meal. I bet it's even better dining in!
I was really hoping to have a great experience, but boy was I wrong. I went here 3 times since they opened. I never have got my food correctly. I also ended up waiting an hour to even be served drinks, which I should have left. I was hard headed and wanted to see how long it would take.The tall bald manager is a great example of TERRIBLE customer service and always demonstrates why I don’t like and won’t ever come there again.This place needs a lot of improvement.
My wide and I were looking for a new spot to try, and landed on MC's. We loved the vibe, but were very disappointed in most everything else. The food was over priced, especially considering the portion size. My wife upgraded her side from fries to onion rings, she received 4. Yes you read that right. $2 up charge and only received 4 onion rings. Sides are the dumbest area for any restaurant to skimp on. Would be 1 star except the vibe was fun. Might go back for a beer, but that's about it.
The ingredients are fresh and plentiful. We had the pork spring rolls and the duck wontons. The spring rolls were underwhelming but an interesting unorthodox idea. The wontons were amazing and filled with a great mix of veggies as well. The sauce for both of them were amazing and had me wondering how to recreate it in my kitchen but I don't think I'll be able to Crack it. Main courses were great with a variety of color and tasting fresh.
I really enjoyed it here!! Tried the MC’s IPA & was super impressed. It’d definitely bring me back again for another! Apps were great & Turkey sandwich was very good as well.
As a retired over-the-road truck driver I've eaten at hundreds of places, this place hands down has the best french fries ever. The burgers are phenomenal! If you haven't tried this place oh, you need to! You won't be disappointed!
