This place is chalk full of charm and delicious food.El Loro has a few locations throughout the Twin Cities, but this one seems to be just a notch above the rest.The service is always good here when we've come in to dine. The food is always served hot and well seasoned.Two recommendations for meals are the Pollo Asada and the El Lindo. Both are great portions and very reasonably priced.
We did online order and were told our food was ready for pick up. When my brother went to pick up our food, the guy gave him the wrong receipt along with the wrong food. My brother asked me to send him the receipt, but the guy didn’t care and kept telling my brother the order he gave was the only one they had, and was being persistent on telling my brother to just go EVEN THOUGH MY BROTHER HAD MY RECEIPT AND CONFIRMATION FOR PICKUP. He didn’t even bother helping my brother or figure out what the problem was. A little later, the waitress came and helped my brother with our food. Obviously, they made a mistake with our order prolonging the pickup. If not for the waitress, and it was just left to the lazy guy, I would have given this place 1 star (bc food was decent). Whoever the guy was, he needs to have better service and do his job better and correctly.
Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Stood in the waiting area waiting to be serviced or at least acknowledged & everyone walked past me, no one said excuse me. I finally flagged someone down & they gestured for someone else to assist me and still no help. Ended up with the manager taking my to go order and saying he’ll call me in 25 mins to come back when ready. Never called so I came in and the food still wasn’t ready. Been here almost a whole hour. My patience was officially up.
I really enjoyed going there! I had never been to one before. It was easy to find. The employees were all more than amazing and friendly! I went to have a Margarita with my longest out-state friend and we ordered a Frozen Raspberry Margarita... Let me just say... WOW! I had to take a picture of it first and foremost! I did not expect all that! It tasted amazing and it was Gi-Normous! I can't say enough about how wonderful the staff was! They had the best attitudes and service you could ask for! They made everyone feel so welcome and were there with a smile! I would definitely tell anyone to go there! Next time I will try the food because we had already made dinner plans at a friends house later that night and didn't get to try but I was more than excited the lady had brought out some chips when got there instantly! I was getting a little hungry and thought that was awesome they gave snacks as we were just sitting down! Thank you all who was working that day, wish I had your names! This place was incredible. Friendly staff, great service and food, excellent drinks. I’m from San Diego and lived in Arizona for a while, and when I was moving the Minnesota I was told the Mexican food in the Midwest just doesn’t hold up, but these guys single-handedly demolished that notion. Best carnitas chimichanga I’ve ever had, my wife had an amazing veggie chimichanga (great variety for vegetarians btw).Easily better than any Mexican food in Arizona.Will come back literally any time.

I had my birthday dinner here and the service was great our waiter was very friendly and made sure we were good through our wholemeal and took pics at the end for us. He also brought a birthday dessert over for me. I will be back to try more menu items. The Chimichangas are delicious and full of meat. Thank you for making my birthday a great one. we will be back!!
Food was good and the micheladas are Amazing. The employees also made sure we were well served.
I stopped in while getting a recall done on my Subaru next door. I was one of a handful of people in the bar area. I ordered my drink, got that and a water, as well as chips, salsa and white dip. I ordered my food, and I got the wrong food entirely. The food was good, which is why I didn't notice immediately that it was wrong. I decided to keep it.Shortly after eating I paid (and correctly billed for the food I got, not what I ordered) , and as I was finishing up my drink I asked if I could stay a little while as my car was still getting work done. I was told no. I was one of three people in the whole restaurant. I was gobsmacked, but I left. I don't think I'll go back.
