I used to absolutely love this place and would eat here all the time! However it seems like it’s come under new ownership and the owner has decided to cheap out on the items to make a profit. The tigo fries aren’t the same, the tacos are about 1/2 the size they used to be, removed the beef and bean tostada along with changing the cheese chilito. That’s very saddening and disappointing to see A Bloomington favorite die out because of somebody trying to make a quick buck.
Food was awesome. Very friendly workers. Food was ready when we arrived.
The staff was nice, and the food came quick. But everything was kinda blah. Maybe if they put the sauce on the burrito and upped the spice in the meat. The carnitas was cold... In the taco salad. The salad bowl was nicely crisped and good. Reasonable price.
I had 2 Supreme tacos and they were great. I'm hardly ever sisappointed here. The food and service are excellent.
Had lunch at Zantigos at 97th and Lyndale Ave Bloomington.Very good! You have Taco Bell beat no doubt about it. Thanks!
This is the most whitewashed Mexican establishment I’ve ever been. Only reason I give it 5 was the service. Taco Bell is better than this. Still edible tho.
Used to be good cheap Mexican food, but the quality has gotten worse and it's way more expensive now.
It was 19 dollars and some change for a grande burrito, 2 tacos, and a nacho deluxe. And let me tell you what, it was worth every cent. The burrito was flavorful, wrapped tightly, and the barbacoa was seasoned well. The chips were crisp, and it was a plentiful portion. The tacos were great, and I really enjoyed the hot sauce with them. I will be back again.
I lived in Bloomington Minnesota from 1971 to 1988 and ate at Zantigos pretty much every week, their cheese chilitos are ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL. I never had a bad meal I hated it when taco bell bought them out but every time I go back to Minnesota I go to 5 places, Zantigos, David fongs, Carbonis, Davanis and Wally's Roast beef!! Thank you for the great food and memories, see you this summer!!
