Good Beer selection. Superb service. Sub-par tacos. Why do Minnesotans love celery salt? Why would you put celery salt on a taco? Celery salt is not a spice. It only makes everything taste like celery. Do celery tacos sound tasty? Kick that white guy out the kitchen and tell him to take his celery salt with him.
The food is decent. I love their 2 for 1s on drinks and the atmosphere is great. However, the service is sub par. We always seem to get the same server that seems like he hates customers and his job. He’s never once told us his name, and I don’t think I’ve ever seen him smile. This is coming from someone who worked as a server and bartender for 15 years. Just sayin’…
The atmosphere was very enjoyable, even though lots of noise with how busy it was. The decor was more upscale rustic cowboy feel than a Speak Easy from the past times. The food was in large portions and good taste. I had the Speak Easy Fajitas and Carrot cake. There were plenty of beers on tap and drink choices. The also have 2 for 1 beer and rail drinks. I've been there last summer, which we eat outside on the rooftop. I'd like to come back again this summer. The wait staff was great and they all seemed to help each other bus the tables as we were finished with a plate or drink. It made for nice service on a busy night.
We walked in with 18 people. They were so accommodating. Our waitress Emma was super quick she got everyone refills. All our food was out all together and hot. The food was awesome too!
Their burgers did not disappoint! The jalapeño popper burger was the favorite at our table, and the tots with seasoned sour cream were incredible. Already can’t wait to come back next time we visit!
Food is always delicious here, and the staff have always been nice. It can get a bit loud in there, the sound seems to echo... gives a fun vibe but avoid weekends if that's not your thing.
Great for apps and drinks, though entrees are also good quality/portions. Staff is always amazing when we go, just a really chill atmosphere. Some of the best customer service at this location.
I showed up for my first time at Willy McCoys yesterday.I arrived about 05:30 to hit up happy hour and get dinner. It was busy for a weeknight, and we got what I believe was a new server.Water came out right away, took 20 minutes to order drinks and an appetizer. Drinks and appetizer were great, but our server never came back.By 06:30, and not finding out server to place our food order, I had to find the manager to pay our bill.The atmosphere was great, and the food and drink options were pretty extensive. I'll give it another shot on another night. Hard to give an honest review based on this experience.
We went there on a Monday for lunch and suprising, they had half off burgers and they were really good! Good environment and service.
While this spot can get real busy, the food is always delish and the service is always great. Everyone is down to earth and helpful. There's always a good energy too, which makes for a great place to visit for happy hour or late night hangs! Despite being a great bar hangout, they find a way to balance it to also be very family friendly too!
