Seriously the only coffee shop in the Twin Cities you need to go to. My sister and I frequent here often. I love the quality and overall warmth of the people who work there. Highly recommend their caramel--either it's homemade or whatever they use is extremely high quality! I wish they had a location further north because all my money would go there.
One ice latte and one cappuccino. The coffee was really good, and lots of students study here. Great place to study and enjoy the sunshine sitting around the entrance in the afternoon. We also found that our favorite Chinese restaurant “grand Szechuan” is just one minute walk away from the coffee shop.
What can I say but ??. Kind and great staff that craft excellent drinks and food. They make their syrups from scratch and have amazing gluten free blueberry scones. I will be back.
Super great place to stop! Only been here once but the staff was very friendly and greeted with a smile. Great atmosphere and an awesome place to sit down and chat or study. I will be back if I’m ever in the area again
Mugshots is a great place to grab coffee, meet up with friends or study/work. Rarely will you find this much space for customers. There's a conference room for rent. When not rented it's a great spot to work/study/read. Outside of the room there are seats, tables, couches for conversations (loud interactions).Staff is super friendly!The only wish is for expanded parking.
I never leave bad reviews of places but this one I had to. This has been my second time coming to mugshot. The first time it was ok it was a Saturday 9am and they were fast and the coffee was decent. However, today a total different story the place was busy which is fine we dont mind waiting but unfortunately the service was terrible.I ordered an iced americano, white chocolate mocha and a cheescake berry waffle. We waited 20min and nothing was coming up for us. My husband stood in the bar waiting for our order and absolutely nothing. I came up to the bar to wait too and notice that the barista was clueless on what coffees she had ready and what was on the counter. I also notice a women come and very politely say her iced decaf coffee wasn't ready and a random women sitting on the bar using her laptop very rudely told her "It happens". First I was confused on why this random women was answering but then realize she was also an employee. The same women politely again asked for ketchup and once again this employee who very obviously wasnt working at the time replied super rudely "NO WE DONT HAVE THAT HERE".Well after 25min I decided to ask where was my order turns out my coffee was just sitting there. I also notice a mocha sitting there too and ask if that was my order and barista said no that's a mocha. So I continued to wait to only to be told 7min later that it was in fact my coffee. At this point my toddler was over sitting so of course we had to rush out but the waffle wasn't ready yet. So I went up to counter to ask for a status of my waffle order and they literally hadnt even started my order so I asked if I could just get a refund. They were hesitant and told me it be a 2min wait. I said no I have to go and they proceed to offer a free waffle "technically not free" next time and I politely said no sorry not coming here again but I was baffled by how they wanted me to continue waiting and still offer a little voucher for a waffle for next time instead of offering a refund. No sorry!Also the mocha was not a white chocolate mocha and both coffees were terrible. Not worth the wait at all!Super dissapointing experience!
Great environment to study and get work done. Wifi is very fast. Fantastic iced tea and kombucha. Baristas are always friendly too. If you are looking for food, I'd recommend the breakfast sandwich or the Pesto, Turkey, Swiss, Nordic Waffle.
Very spacious coffee spot with great sandwich items, bakery items, lots of tea options and of course coffee.
All the national coffee coffee franchise’s coffee tastes watered down. This is the way coffee is supposed to taste. Bold, full body roasted taste. When they add flavoring it’s not all on the bottom but make mixed through the drink
Just happened by this place. I ordered a cappuccino and it was excellent, so was the mug it came in. It was busy and the person making the coffee..Ellie? Was excellent. She was great with the customers. You would do well by keeping her. They all were great! Great atmosphere as well!
