Jimmy runs the show at Human! The place is the hidden gem of Bloomington. After only asking my name once he remembered and greats me like an old friend as he does with all of their guests. The food is so good you won't want to stop eating. Best Chinese restaurant ever! Thank you Jimmy and Kevin you guys rock!
Very good food and excellent service! Flavors are unique not your same old same old tastes so good. If you have a large party they offer large turn tables in the center of your table so you can share by just spinning the turn tables till you get the desired dish you want to eat.
Mu Shu pork was so yummy! Great service. No liquor but thats ok. Very friendly place!

We decided to try this place out after reading the reviews and I have to admit that the food is pretty good. We came from Chicago for the weekend and the food was very similar to my favorite spot in Chicago. We tried the orange chicken, pork fried rice, beef lomein, egg rolls and potstickers. I only got to take picture of the lomein because everything else was gone before I got a chance to do so.
Back to Alexandria office so taking my lunch and dinner in Hunan Restaurant, food taste like home cook food for me as travelling from Singapore to Minnesota (Alexandria)
Was really hoping to love this place based on the reviews.Ordered two kinds of mei fun, kung pao chicken, broccoli in garlic sauce, and cream cheese wontonsMei fun and broccoli were way too salty and not much other flavor, kung pao was made with breaded chicken that was very tough and not much else. Tasted like it was made with yesterdays chicken from another dish. At least they made it spicy per my request. Cream cheese wontons were so sweet they were like some strange desert version.Best ordering experience, fast service, and pick up I’ve ever had at Chinese take out, but 70% of the $70 I spent went in the trash. Very disappointing.
Superb service, the only thing I wish was on the menu was the potion size... Big enough for two people.... I didn't know about that until the food was brought to me.
Wow! Super super place. If you are looking for a quick lunch, good food and polite and friendly staff, this is your place. I have been here five times in the last couple weeks. They have a lunch special for $11.99 that includes soup, side, full meal and almond cookies. You leave FULL. For less of a price than a fast food chain. The food is fresh and HOT. I have tried many things and my favorite is the green bean chicken. It’s not on their lunch menu, but it’s delicious. The staff is also extremely attentive and quick. This is extremely rare. I love this little place and will keep coming back to support a local business.
When I got there and saw it was nearly vacant at 12:30pm on a Saturday, my first thought was "oh no, here comes paper plates and gastrointestinal distress". Thankfully, I was wrong! The food was hot, tasty, and plentiful! Normally "Americanized" Chinese restaurant food would only rate 3 stars for me, but they did well.My only complaint is that the restaurant could be more well lit. It's a little dark and gloomy.
