So much fun here!!! I highly recommend this resort. Family friendly!!! I've gone to family resorts and the people working aren't family friendly. This resort definitely provided great customer service. The water park is so much fun! Our day passed by so fast.I saw some reviews and I was slightly nervous, but I have to say this place was wonderful!

Super awesome family time here. We stayed at the hotel and everything was perfect. Smooth check in, clean rooms. Kids LOVED their bunk room. We had pizza one night and it was absolutely delicious. Long lines for some of the slides on Sunday and Monday. Tuesday was the day to go to the water park . Overall fantastic experience. Everyone was sad to leave. Will definateley be back.

We went up to the hotel for a midweek getaway and everything worked out nicely. We were easily able to check in. Our room was ready to go and clean. A couple knocks I have with the rooms are that there are no freezers in the fridges and the window shades get pretty bright when that summer sunrise rolls in early. Breakfast is not included but if you fit the bill, it's a nice buffet to start the day. The water park was a lot of fun with very good lifeguards. Because it was the middle of the week, it didn't seem too packed in regards to people. Everything in the pool seemed clean. Overall, it was a fun stay and I would recommend it to others!

Where do I begin? We checked in on a Sunday after spending 3 days exploring Minneapolis and we instantly fell in love with the resort. It was the perfect size for our 6 and 2 year old and the perfect size for us to manage. Nothing was ever crowded to the point where we couldn't enjoy it. The food was delicious at all the restaurants. The food was also very comparable in price to a typical restaurant and not over priced like some resorts are. We gem mined, bowled, became master magis, played in the arcade, and enjoyed the water park multiple times each day. We also became trailblazers by participating in arts and crafts, summer games, reading time, and every dance party we could find. All of the staff we encountered over our 3 days were absolutely wonderful with us and our children. My very inquisitive and talkative 6 year old was engaged in conversation by all of the staff he talked to, which made this dad very happy. I do want to especially recognize Sam, Michael, Garrett, and Valerie of the entertainment team. We had the pleasure of interacting with them on Sunday and Monday and they were all so great. Their passion and positivity is truly appreciated and made our two boys feel like they were with old friends having fun. The resort is truly worth every penny and it was the best trip we've ever taken.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND!! First I had an issue booking my hotel stay and comes to find out I didn’t get a party room like I wanted so I had to decorate the hotel room to improvise. Oh then got kicked out for no reason when I never done wrong and I had got escorted by the police and I was livid it was my sons birthday and we had to leave all over something I didn’t do. They are very much racist and very unprofessional ! I also spent $700 on a hotel stay and it wasn’t worth it very much pricey for no reason. I will never be back ! I’m definitely reaching out to see the mayor about how me and my family were treated.

I took my teenage son and 3 of his friend to great wolf lodge in Bloomington for the weekend. The weekend was great, our room was ok. There we no sheets or bedding in the room for the pull out couch, nor was there a blanket on my bed, only 2 sheets. We had to have them bring blankets twice because they only brought one blanket the first time. We had a dining package and I kept the receipts from all of the transactions. Other than the over crowed hallways and pool, the overall experience was good until we left. There was almost $70 of extra charges on the room. I was the only one that could charge to the room and I had all the receipts. After standing in line for 30 minutes, those charges were finally revered. But when I returned home 4 hours away, I notice there was a charge for $125 and another for $50 on a different card than the one the room was charged on. I knew they were going to pre authorize the car for “incidentals”, but they should not have charged the card. I cleaned and picked up all the trash in the room because I wanted to make sure we didn’t lose anything. I have been trying to call the resort to dispute these charges and can’t get to talk to anyone ally the actual resort. Each time I have called I end up on the reservation line and they can only tell me someone will reach out in 24-48 hours, each time I call. They can’t help me at all and I don’t think anyone really cares enough to help. I will not stay at a great wolf lodge again. Their customer service is terrible, the reservation line is great, but the so called customer service is trash.

I checked into this very expensive hotel for my sons birthday upon arrival I noticed there was no sliding doors for the luggage which was not good .. hotel did provide luggage carts but if you have more than 3/4 bags you will need 2 carts because there is no sliding doors it’s was a challenge entering hotel.. check in is 3pm if you wanna get relax a bit get unpacked and dressed you better hurry because pool closes at 8pm on a Friday I was told 10pm my sons birthday friend was arriving a bit late make a long story short I feel it was a waste of money kids was complaining and did not enjoy the fact of pool closing so early…Then you will have to wait in a 10-to 15 to get back up from pool area on elevator ??‍♀️ now I will say this staff and hotel cleanliness is great! Will I return yes only if pool hours could be longer??

i was called 8 days before my trip and told that they are closing the lodge for renovations and i'm SOL. and they only told me that when i called them back because their message to me just said that i would have to check in before 2p on May 2nd.....not that the lodge was closed. and when i spoke to a person, they show zero concern for costing me my flight and car because i can't cancel at this point without major fees. and the woman on the phone was like, give us another try!?! why? so you can bend me over again? no mention of any consideration for this last minute change, just, sorry, our bad. customer service has left the service industry and this place is a prime example of that. i had never been to a Great Wolf Lodge and i know i never will.

The worst family experience I’ve ever had. First total fiasco with the reservation. Took two trips to get figured out with no apology. Second the room was very small and over priced. The accommodations in the room were lacking barely more than a sheet provided for bedding. To top it off they had to look three times to find my credit card to close out a tab. Way overpriced with horrible service!

Family with kids aged 8, 5, and 3. The good *Hotel had overall fun theming. *Room was appropriately sized. Considering the added water park admission, the room size was a good financial value. *The water park was smaller, but nice. Good activities for each of the kids considering their age. *Lots of fun activities from crafts to stories, but we were told all activities posted were not always available. *Despite listing a number of negatives, my family and especially the kids had a really good time. The bad *GWL told us lots of families take the light rail from downtown/airport to Mall of America and walk to GWL. THIS IS A FAR WALK, ESPECIALLY WITH KIDS AND LUGGAGE. They could really use an airport/MOA shuttle. We ended up asking a hotel across the street to use their shuttle (Hilton Garden Inn). *Few eating options. They had a highly expensive breakfast buffet and a Dunkin Donuts with a super long line in the morning. I can accept that they are trying to get different revenue streams (captive eating, rock climbing, etc.), but they need more options for food. *Hours of the pool were 10-8. For small kids, that usually wake up early, this needs an earlier start time. Each morning we waited for hours for it to open. *They have 5 total slides outside the kiddie area. At no point were more than 3 of these operating. Was great for us since it was not crowded, but it would have been nice to experience everything in one day.
