Worst food ever. Tomato sauce and chips for starters. Who eats that? Then, what's the white thing that tastes like mayo and sugar? Bad for dipping your chips in. Main course was not seasoned. My rice was yellow. Like they forgot what goes in it. They put some nasty cheese and green something on the meats. Shame. Never again. Should have known by the customers there. Not one Hispanic. Disgusting.
This was our first time here and I dont want to judge the service because it was Cinco de Mayo. But it was awful. They sat someone else instead of us and the person seating was not very polite when she was told to squeeze us in. She sat us at a dirty table with menus and no one came back for over 10 minutes. We watched others that came right before and after gets chips, drinks, and even place their order before we finally got someone.After they dropped off our drinks we never saw the server again, as someone else dropped off our food. We were out of drinks for quite some time and we saw the server chatting and laughing with the host and a few others at the front. I finally went up to ask refills and a go box.The server was still there when we went to pay and there was no acknowledgment to us at all. No one ever checked on our food, refills, there was no how was your meal or thanks for coming.Again, I understand it was busy, but we watched everyone around us get better service.However, I definitely recommend the queso dip. 100%. And anything with the chipotle sauce.
Tried this location after 494/100 one closed.Surprised at how small this one was.Menu is similar & extensive.Not quite what we experienced at our former favorite.
I just love the Paloma cocktail, not too sweet, just right. I had chicken fajitas last night and had enough for lunch and yet another meal later!! Very fair prices. We sat at the bar and we had great service with attention to detail, like specific tortillas and extra sides. (On a side note, I never saw the hostess smile, I hope she was ok, sometimes we have to go to our job when we aren't 100% emotionally ready to be there.)
I've now been twice. So here are my thoughts. Food is great. Easy to get a table, nice atmosphere. First time service was great. Second time service was terrible. We didn't see our server from the moment we ordered our food until we finished our meal and I was about ready to go up to the bar to get a refill on my beverage. Now not see him is not fair. We saw him at moments serving other tables. Not once did he look our way or even check in that we got our order alright. So. Maybe next time they will win back part of a star but right now I'm mixed.
I asked for a less sweet Margarita and they created it on spot! Replaced some of the sugar syrup with fresh squeezed lime for a Skinny Margarita. Exceptional bar tender!!
The tortillas were not done there were also no limes with the street tacos Tortilla was so underdone and wet that I could not pick up the taco without it breaking completely and everything falling out. You are only given 1 red salsa for tacos had to pay extra for the green salsa. They were also closed 15 minutes early so I had to call just to place an order because the outside doors were locked.
One of the worst experiences I have ever had. If you have bad food the employees should never be rude. Just my luck I got both in one night very rude people and awful food. Will never eat there again. Will fo to Taco Bell at least they are friendly. Dont waste your time!
Rude staff!! The only one that seemed to care was our waiter! We found a gnat in our rice and it was argued by more than one employee that it was cilantro! Cilantro doesn’t have wings. They proceeded to bring us pieces of cilantro to show us that it wasn’t a gnat, and we kept getting shady looks from the hostess when she walked by. Definitely need to find a new place! So sad that we are left with this place, after El Loro on American blvd west closed.
Sat at the bar and enjoyed drinks and warm chips with 3 types of dips that were great. I like their margaritas ? on the rocks. It is a good atmosphere for a quick drink or for a meal. ?
