Place is rundown. Dirty floors. stanchions broken and scattered all over the place. Nothing looked fresh. Nothing looked made in house. Hardly anything in stock. Manager should be ashamed. Needs a lot of TLC and refreshed.

Overpriced and doesn’t taste good. Cannolis are gross, cake is dry, cupcakes are gross dry and gross, the m&m cookie was okay, but honestly too sweet. Everything is dry and overpriced. So weird. Many more local bakeries are soooo much better. Here you’re paying for a name. I’m sure the original bakery is great but this… is gross.

The lobster tail was awesome

After reading all the reviews for this business I was nervous about buying a cake from here but decided to try it anyways. We were there on a Tuesday and there was not a single customer there. A woman came out from the back and helped us right away. We order one slice of the fudge rainbow cake and a full whole rainbow cake. My 3 year old son was incredibly thirsty after running around Nickelodeon Universe and they didn't have the bottled water stocked. So the employee went in the back and got him one. Our total came to $52; including the water. Her customer service was just fine; no issues. My mom, my son, and my husband loved the fudge rainbow cake. They all thought it was delicious, rich, and if you like fudge you will also love it. We brought the whole cake home for a birthday celebration and everyone liked it. There is lot of frosting; so it is quite rich and you do not need much of it.Overall the customer service was just fine and the cakes were good. They are overpriced but that is what I expected for the brand and location in the mall of America. I would recommend as a splurge or special treat.

Seems like an overpriced tourist trap. Got a brownie, didn't taste right and seemed dried out. The person behind the counter was pretty useless, told me they weren't taking money because there's a change shortage, I said funny I travel all over the United States I don't see a change shortage and she said oh here in the mall of america. I just purchased something a couple of stores down with cash no problem. Don't like being lied to. Also didn't give me a fork I had to ask for one. Certainly won't be going back or recommend.

my husband bought 5 red velvet slices for valentines bc couldn’t find a whole cake. The cake is a bit dry but tastes good and so does the frosting. Both cake and frosting match perfectly.I give it 2 stars because I won’t be buying there ever again since we ate 2 slices throughout the day and we got bloated, it even gave us painful gas. Never happened before in my entire life. There is no fun in treating yourself and suffering the rest of the day.

I was excited to stop by Carlo’s Bakery since I loved watching the show. We ordered half a dozen cupcakes and they tasted alright. I was honestly expecting more for the price. The customer service was great!

I've been to this location a few times and the employees have always had a smile on their face, ready to serve and answer questions. Their baked goods are really good and not too sweet. The item I like the most is their chocolate canoli.

It’s a cute shop with great customer service but it is very pricey with not a lot of options.

Great eats for sure. Over priced big time. There are many quality bakeries around the Twin City Metro area with the same quality and taste that are a whole lot cheaper.
