My favorite dish ever - Shrimpin’ Dippin’ Broth - was taken off the menu awhile back. Yet whenever I have visited, I have asked for it , and they have told me that although it is no longer on the menu, I can still have it. Today I tried that old game and was told I can no longer get it. Very sad. I then ordered the shrimp poor boy that was sub par - too much bread. Fried fish. And just not great. The Shrimpin’ Dippin’ Broth is where it’s at. Wondering if I could have gotten it if I had ordered through a different server. Hope you bring the Shrimpin’ Dippin’ Broth back - otherwise there is nothing on the menu that makes me want to come back.
Restaurant was clean, staff was very friendly. Nice variety of food. We went during the week, therefore not very busy. Food was very good.
The best and my waitress was very nice and she did her best for me to get a cheesecake but I was to full from the meal
This me and my fiancé 2nd time coming here and the food was really good ? but my only complaint was our server wasn’t that good :/ we had to wait for our drinks and when I was given my soda it didnt have carbonation in it which tasted nasty ?….. I’m honestly disappointed ?
It was a pleasant experience! If you'd like to extend the feelings received when you watched the movie, this is the way to do it! At least one way. Great customer service and great sea food based on the movie. I'll definitely be back many, many times.
We had a great meal...Bloody Mary was fantastic, and daughter and I split the Snow Crab leg and Shrimp Cajun boil. So much food and flavor. Probably could be split between 3 people, but she and I did some real damage to it! My only complaint was it took quite awhile to get our water - which we asked for right away. We had to ask a few times for it, even our Bar beverages arrived well before the water did. Overall, a good experience!
Prices on this menu are way off. The service was ok, but so slow. It took us two hours to complete our meal. The waitress did not come back to check on us. Staff was all nice but I was not impressed with the speed or price. It didn't seem that busy, but maybe they were short staffed?
Nicole, James and your waitress with the last name Dixon were outstanding! The food was amazing and so were the drinks! The staff was very friendly! All I wanted for my birthday was bubba gumps and the one by us closed so it was worth driving from chicago to go eat there.
Place is nice and full of memorabilia from the movie Forest Gump, so if you're a fan you would love this restaurant. I wouldn't say food is awesome but it's very decent and portioned enough for its price. The server is very friendly and she asked couple of trivia questions from the movie which is fun. Overall it's a nice place to take the family in if you're looking to stay away from a typical burger, chicken fingers and fries menu.
The shrimp was sooooo good. So so good. If you don't get a shrimp dish here, you are making a mistake.The appetizer sampler was super good! Honestly, everything was good, and we had a good time. :)All the shrimp is really good.
