"Very low standards"My wife and I are extremely frustrated and disappointed by our last visit to the Apple Bee's on Lyndale Ave. in Bloomington, MN. Upon our arrival, the restaurant was not very busy, yet we waited about 3-5 minutes to be seated. After being seated, we waited over 15 minutes before our waitress, Tanya, even acknowledged our presence in the restaurant. After ordering, we received our appetizer before even getting our drinks. (We were almost done eating the appetizer when the drinks arrived) When we got our main entree, my wife's Three Cheese Chicken Penne had very little sauce. So little sauce that the noodles had completely soaked it up and didn't even look like they had any sauce. It took us 15 minutes to get Tanya's attention. She didn't even stop by to check on our order during our entire visit. Once we requested more sauce, we waited another 15 minutes to receive it. By that time, I had finished my meal and my wife's meal was ice cold. After this terrible experience, Tanya came to our table 20 minutes later and tried to upsell us desert and drinks. After spending over an hour at the restaurant, how could she possibly think we want to wait 20 minutes for her to bring us some desert? I am completely appalled and will never go to this location ever again. It is conveniently located one block from our house, but we would rather go somewhere else that has acceptable service. This is not the first time we have been treated poorly or felt uncomfortable. In the past, it has taken us a long time to get our orders. Furthermore, we have watched one of the male bar tender (Tyler?) flirt with a group of high school girls while ignoring us for the rest of the night. This was absolutely sickening.Aside from the food usually coming out hot after waiting up to 40 minutes for it, I cannot say enough poor comments about this location.
I just had my mom’s birthday party at this Applebees. I can’t express how grateful I am to the staff and Manager Crawford for taking such great care of us. We had a large party, a singing quartet, brought in a 1/2 sheet cake and had decorations. We descended upon the restaraunt and everyone was so helpful and accommodating. The food was hot very good. Thank you so much for making my mom’s day so special.
I had came here w my family today, food was great, me and the family had a awesome day besides what occured today. The waitress Mary didn't tell none of the mothers happy mothers day, was very dry with us, rolling eyes and I get it, it was busy maybe for her but still isn't how you treat ppl and how I am is I reciprocate the same energy given to me so Mary, if your being read this or reading this even, don't take it personal just think of it as if your family went somewhere to eat and you and yours weren't treated in a customer friendly way. I was just baffled and expected at the very least a happy mothers day to the mothers present at the table with their kids. Anyways won't be coming back, thanks for the food! Impossible Burger ? with and extra beef patty, pepper jack cheese, grilled onions, and 2 vibrant sides of broccoli ? ? ?. The A always comes before the B at Applebee's!
Food is generally good. We do curbside pickup about twice a month. The problem is there is always an issue with parts of the order. Sides missing, or order needing to be cooked again. Then the others orders get cold, rather than storing in a warmer. Tonight’s order we ordered two irresistible bowls with bacon and broccoli. Instead when we got home found it was done with chicken. Its just disappointing, looking forward to a meal I didn’t have to cook.
I usually go to the one in Eagan but this is my 1st time trying this Applebee's and this one was the best one of them all, gotta love their classic combo though.?
It's been a while I've been back to this place and will definitely come back, enjoyed the variety of food, drinks and desserts. Our food was delivered just in time each time.Our server was awsome, she would ask us if we needed anything else and was on top of our need of drinks ????.Hope to come back soon, with a bigger group.Come and enjoy this place, you wont be disappointed.
Had mostly drinks here and some appetizers. Food was so-so and the drinks were very very sweet but the service was good and this location is really well maintained. It looked very presentable, staff was as attentive as we had requested and it was somewhat a good deal during happy hour. Nothing to write home about but once again I was impressed by how nice this Applebee's was inside.
My order was messed up but my server Tanya was the best. I definitely appreciate her i will be coming back soon just to see her. She brighten my cloudy day with her smile and positive energy. She definitely needs a raise
It was my birthday and my mother wanted to meet up you're with her friend I had the tortilla hamburger which was awesome really good and I like going there for my birthday good stuff good food
