I cannot say I'm happy with my meal today. Walked in and ordered a tub. Not happy at all. Last time is was in was a month or two ago. The new breading added is horrible. I live 5 mins away by the time I got home the wings were all soggy and had little tp no flavor otherthan grease in the breading. I remember they used to be nice crispy and light. I ate about 10 of my 24 and threw the rest away. I'm not one to complain unless I'm highly disappointed and I will not return due to the fact of adding a fake tempura type batter to something that was great just the way it was. Sorry. I know my opinion doesn't matter much to you. I'll drive to Oakdale for d-spot wings from now on.
This was my first time at the Wing Joint in Blaine. Decided to try it based on reviews. Got the 24 tub of wings. I'd say they are good, better than average at least. The seasoning is tasty but a little salty. I'd be curious to try the ribs and sides sometime. Seems like most people get it to-go as the seating area is small and right next to where everyone walks in and out. Overall I'd recommend for those who like fried wings.
Been going here for years. Even though I live 20 minutes. It's worth the trip everytime. They never have switched up and I always know what I am gonna get everytime.
Today's lunch included the 5 wing Dinner.Portion was generous. Food was served fresh and hot to the touch. Best wings I've ever had! The BBQ sauce was smoky and delicious. The meat was juicy and the breading was a little salty but tender. Great blended flavor overall! Texas toast and French fries were delicious and the coleslaw was nicely chilled with a bite of vinegar! Reasonably priced for the amount and quality of food.Wing Joint is known for their ribs. They did not disappoint.Next time I'll include a photo!
Went here for lunch with my brother. Had the chicken sandwich with cheese curds and mac and cheese bites. The sandwich and cheese curds were fantastic the mac and cheese bites were not my favorite but still tasty enough. Would recommend :)
Love the wings so much that I’m willing to go 45 minutes out of my way to get them! Plus, they re-heat wonderfully in the air fryer! Always have great service too!
As someone who worked here in the early 90's making the food [got fired for being crabby, teenager], I will still suggest this place. Their seasoning is really good and very secret. One thing I wanted to try when I was there was putting the hojos in the wing batter, deep frying, and then seasoning them. Never got around to it.
The food is amazing! Fair priced too. We bought 2 packs of 24 full wings with an order of full ribs for $100
Stopped in for lunch. The person who took my order at the counter was very nice. They had a special: 4 wings, fries, and drink. So, I ordered that. It's a bit of a wait but the Wings came out crispy on the outside and hot in the middle which is how wings should be. The spice they use on the wings is very good, so I asked for extra. They do have an assortment of dipping sauces. I prefer just the spice that's already on them.. The fries were good but a little over-cooked, a minute or so less would have been perfect. I really loved the wings but I believe they have gotten a little smaller since I last visited which was a while ago.I will definitely return when I am in the area.
