Decent food, good tater tots, good bloody Mary's. Typical small town bar restaurant. Water tastes funny here so I like to bring my own water in a clear water bottle and always have, but today when I went one of the servers was very stern about not letting me bring it in so I had to go put it away in the car and come back. Another time I was told my dog was not allowed on the patio by one girl, but then a different person who saw my dog and said dogs are allowed. So mixed messages on if bottled water is allowed, and if dogs are allowed on the patio.
Hadn't been here for a few years and won't be coming back. Our food and cocktails were decent, but the service was not good. Our waitress was awesome but the hostess was extremely rude not only to us but to other customers as well. There was another 2 waitresses that were grouchy and rude also. #badadditudes
My husband found this place and decided we should give it a go, man was that a great idea!! We went for their all day breakfast as we were hankering for some brunch food. My husband got the country fried steak & sausage gravy with over easy eggs & strawberry pancakes. The country fried steak was delicious, crunchy flakey crust and tender steak, eggs were cooked perfectly and the pancakes light and fluffy (note that the strawberries do not come made into the pancake, rather you get a side of strawberry fruit topping).I got the kielbasa skillet, with a side of queso, and blueberry pancakes. Those pancakes ???, omg yes!! Unlike the strawberry pancakes, the blueberries were mixed into the cakes and topped with a whip cream smile, I devoured my short stack! My kielbasa skillet was also amazing, two perfectly over easy eggs atop a stack of hash browns, veggies and kielbasa and then paired with a side of cheesy delicious queso was a match made in Midwestern heaven! If you like bloody Mary’s, you have to try out their house-made vodkas Haba-haba & the pickled piper, try them together for a spicy big dill bloody!! Soo good!! We’ll be back for sure!!!
Hot Turkey Sandwich with mashed n gravy. Philly with tots n season sour cream. Pot Stickers. On point.
This is my first time at the Ole Piper Inn. I was in the neighborhood helping other merchants when I happened upon it. The Kielbasa Skillet is an amazing dish, and the coffee is top notch. Rachel made me feel like I’m a part of their family. The place is humming with activity. Highly recommend you stop in, and I’ll be back for sure.
Love to come here for a quick bite to eat.Small menu and it sucks that the desert heat sauce is gone. But the cheese curds and waffle fries with seasoned sour cream make it worth it. Cheap drinks and friendly staff. Has a small town feel to it.
I love everything about this place; it's definitely my to go spot for a good meal. Staff's are always welcoming you and making you feel welcomed. Food is always on point, and my mouth is drooling thinking about their foods. Drinks are also an extra bonus. I ordered to go for family members and got them hooked.
They had me at breakfast all the time. Didn't know it was Bingo night, but even with a big crowd service was great. Attentive, but not annoying or smothering. Food was hot, fresh, and well executed. Prices reasonable, portions large, and a great place.
Great place to have fun and get some great food and drinks
