I always look forward to eating here when I come to town. It is a requirement! But I've noticed the quality is not what it used to be. Grizzly meat and not the depth of flavors that were their Hallmark. Please fix it!!

I live an hour away. But I stop by when I can.Great fresh made food, veteran wait staff, open, light friendly atmosphere.Our waitress was Sophie and she was so kind and understanding. We did not bring enough money for a proper tip and she was more than gracious. She is a joy.
Excellent restaurant for food, service and atmosphere. Made from scratch food at it's best. My only regret is that the previous larger menu before Covid-19 has not returned so much less choices.I also was a little disappointed at breakfast time last summer that there were no sweet rolls on the menu to order. Love to have a sweet roll with coffee. Other than that the breakfast entrees were delicious.

Very good Carol's Reuben,,, could use more kraut, though!Grilled Chicken Sandwich was also very good. Beer was good and cold?French fries looked really good, but a bit soggy. But I ate them all.The servers were great,,, verycheerful and accommodating????Next time,,, Senior Half Hot Sandwich_Meatloaf.And the desserts,,,, ???I hear that the breakfast menu is incredible.Good job Carol's !!!
WE went For BBQ RIBS And WE Should OF SAID SOMETHING BUT WE DID NOT Because WE OVERHEARD A Man AND His FAMILY COMPLAINING over their FOOD EXPECIALLY the RIBS and we had them also and they were HORRIBLE EXTREMELY HORRID and as we overheard the server we knew nothing would come of this HORRIBLE MEAL so we got up and left and as we did we noticed the faces of another couple of tables who had the ribs and they were not eating them either and they were not happy...we just wanted to get out of there for we were extremely uncomfortable at that moment for the owners never ever should of treated their customers like the way they were with nast servers sheilding them and yes the ribs do not have them and becareful of anything deep fried because we could tell they go to long with their grease between cleanings..its a huge expensive risk to go here and it may have been good before 2021 burt not now for no one cares anymore and the real evil shows their face now and if you chance it here you will know exactly what i am saying...
The service was a bit slow as they were short staffed. However, the food was delicious and the portions were filling. The atmosphere is light and the restaurant is clean and comfortable. The deserts are their specialty and do not disappoint. I personally recommend the pies.
