Awesome local restaurant. Over two meals, my son and I had two great experiences. We tried two of the mac and cheese dishes and a burger. I had a local Bemidji Being Red X ale that I totally enjoyed. The service was very friendly and attentive.
209 is a great gem in Bemidji. The staff is wonderful to accommodate everyone at our table. I had the hot honey chicken sandwich. It was more sweet with honey then hot. I would request jalapeno on sandwich for a kick.
Awesome service and awesome food! An upbeat and relaxed vibe with timely service and a creative menu. We came back after a visit some years ago prior to the expansion. It will be on the list of places to go from now on!
Loved the new Bar 209 building and ambiance. Experienced nothing but great service and friendly people. Two thumbs up on the Walleye tacos, and beer selection especially Bemidji Brew on tap. For sure our first stop for food and drinks next time we’re back in town.

Although this is a cool local bar with a friendly staff, only 3 stars. The food did not meet my expectation based on the description. I asked if I was mistaken when I read it on my friends phone. No paper menus so you have to scan the qr code. They tried to serve me my "haystack " but failed to bring what I expected. If I could give a separate rating for the FOH staff, they would get 5 STARS.I posted my receipt only because I was amazed at the price for my Tito's. My colleague picked up the tab for the meal.I would go back if I move here.
