Service is awful. Have been there a few times to give it a chance, but always bad service. Once was asked by every employee behind the counter if I’d been helped (I wasn’t), but still waited 5 minutes for someone to actually take my order. Another time we went through the drive-thru and asked the ice cream flavors and the person taking the order acted very annoyed we asked that. Put the flavors on the menu if you don’t want to answer that question. It’s worth the few extra minutes to drive to the one in Eagan off Cliff.
Let me first start by saying I absolutely love Dunkin. I love their iced lattes, iced coffee and iced anything really. I'm also so happy there's on right in Apple Valley now. What I'm not pleased about is the management and staff. Trust me, I'm a very patient and understanding person and even I get frustrated. Their wait time is super long a lot of the time. There have been times I've gotten my order quickly but many times, it has taken 5 min even with no one in front of me and with me only having one single drink. Today, I went and ordered a medium iced coffee and they're supposed to be $2 right now. It rung up as over $3. Can't remember exactly how much but was like $3.74 or something like that. I showed the guy the $2 promo and asked why it rang up so high. He ended up handing me a dollar back but acted like he didn't know what I was talking about. I swear it still rang up for the amount that a large does. I always order a large and only ordered a medium because it was supposed to be $2. I still love Dunkin and will continue going to this location but they really need to improve their management and training.
Avoid this location at all costs. I’ve been there 3 times, everytime I’ve had to wait 20+ minutes for an iced latte. I’ve ordered in person, online and through the drive thru and regardless of how I order, it’s the longest wait. They don’t make drinks and food in order, they just pick the easier orders to do first and any iced coffee drink gets pushed off until later. It’s worth driving over to Eagan or Bloomington for way better service. Also, my latte has no coffee in it. It’s just milk and syrup. Stay away from this nightmare of a Dunkin!
My husband and I walked-in as this was our first time eating here so we wanted to look over the menu before ordering. What first struck us as odd was there were no names/descriptions or prices of the donuts anywhere. And if there were, it was not in a common sense place for customers to see. We considered asking the employees but nobody could even bother to greet or acknowledge us. Also, I noticed someone take out garbage and return from doing so without washing their hands. Then, they started preparing a drink/reached into the ice container with unclean hands which grossed me out. Maybe he washed in the back, but two hand-washing sinks were visible in the front so transparency in cleanliness shouldn't be too difficult, especially after a pandemic. We ended up leaving without ordering. Cleanliness, service, and communication were lacking and for a new place - this should not only be a priority if you want to succeed and create repeat customers, but it should have also been covered during training. Reconsider management because we were all around unimpressed.
Accuracy of order, time, and friendliness of staff is why I’m giving this location 1 star. I simply asked for 2 shots of espresso in a large cup of ice (because I like to add my own protein drink to it). Long story short he gave me 1 shot in a hot cup and I had to reask for a large cup of ice, then to top it off he didn’t give me a straw. Very rude customer service and I paid for 2 espresso shots( which I very well needed going into a 16hr work day)
This Dunkin location is really coming around to be one of my favorites. In the first few weeks being open there seemed to be a few struggles (expected) but now the staff has really got things figured out. They process orders quickly, with a smile, and do a great job getting the orders made correctly and in an efficient manner. Great job everyone. My 3 yr old and I will keep coming here for our special treats as long as you can keep up the excellent service.
I ordered medium chai latte, a box of munchkins and a sandwich. When I got to the window they handed me a matcha latte, 10 pcs of munchkins and my sandwich. The guy was very rude also yelling at his employees. I also felt very rush when they were taking my order and that’s what happens. They get all your orders incorrect. Not coming back to this location anymore. I’d rather go to the Eagan location.
The drinks and food was good. I'm just a little bit disappointed in the wait time. We went in and waited about 15 minutes for three drinks. Other than that, the customer service was fantastic and like I said the food was good. I definitely recommend trying one of the refreshers. The peach one is my favorite.
Went Sunday morning at 8:30am. No line whatsoever, placed my order, and reiceved my items accurately and timely. The staff was nice and said have a great Sunday and thanks for coming in. Only reason why 4/5 stars is the drive-thru sign is either poorly angled or dimly lit and is very hard to see.
First time I tried this location online, they didn’t have the drink that was promoted. So I had to wait for them to make me a different drink and they still messed up on that one after me telling them what I wanted as a replacement. Second time I order online, once again they didn’t have another drink that was promoted and I had to wait 10 minutes for them to tell me they didn’t have the drink. After looking around and waiting, I realize they’re priority is the drive thru. If you’re in a rush and want something quick, don’t bother ordering online with this location. You’re better off going to the drive thru or a different location.
