The service here is very poor. Our first experience at the drive-thru was just before closing. I've worked in fast food too growing up, and I get how frustrating it is when customers keep showing up, and you want to go home, but having an attitude giving us our ice cream is uncalled for. We tried to go through the drive-thru this past weekend, and ended up leaving since the line didn't move for 20 minutes. Management needs to make serious changes with employees and do more trainings. I wouldn't be surprised if this place goes out of business. Won't be back.
I absolutely love this place and the workers are so sweet !! I watched them struggle a few months ago working there butts off and they finally got a few new employees and their doing fantastic!!! Wish you all the very best and keep doing great, especially because it’s a younger crowed this is amazing to watch, compared to a couple other businesses in apple valley you guys will always be my first pick !! Your store is always clean and the workers are always doing their best jobs to make sure I’m served fast and my orders are always fresh love you guys soooo so much.
I haven't been inside a DQ in ages and unfortunately this was a disappointment. Was very disorganized at the front with people bouncing around registers and tons of people standing around while the lobby was full of guests wanting to order. The food was fine. Their soda machine had no ice. They were almost out of ketchup on the self serve counter. Manager could be seen in the back but didn't come out and apologize or make any attempt to calm the "crowd". Oh well.
This used to be such a great DQ! The drive thru lane was barely moving, so we decided to go inside and order. It was a chaotic mess...and smelled like the toilets were backed up! We instantly lost our appetite for a treat. Our neighbor was in there a few nights previous and had terrible service.
Absolutely the worst DQ in the area. The lobby closing before the hours that are posted is ridiculous. The support in the building is SO SO slow its like it's on purpose so they don't need to work and take more orders. I see atleast 5 people in there and 2 are dancing like they are making a tik tok. Go to Culver's...
We ordered two boxe's of our Favorite Dilly bar's. Red ? Cherry & Heath-bar flavors ?-If you haven't tried these flavors, give them a try! as they are Delicious!¡!¡! 《☆☆☆☆☆》Our wait wasn't bad and the Staff were Polite and Kind.We continue to go back.....
Felt really bad for the staff working today. We were waiting in the drive thru line for about 10 minutes without it moving before we decided to go inside. There were only 4 people working the drive thru, grill, and lobby, and they were all young kids. They all looked exhausted.The customers waiting in the lobby showed a lot of grace towards these workers, but it did take 30-40 minutes for the families in front of me to get their orders. My mom & I each ordered a blizzard and we ended up waiting around 45 minutes. My blizzard wasn’t made correctly either, but that’s besides the point.Wondering who and where the manager was for this DQ today. I’m also wondering why they were so short staffed on a nice spring day. I know there is an incredible shortage on workers right now, so maybe that? The most concerning thing to me is that these kids working looked undertrained and/or completely exhausted without breaks. Maybe I’m assuming incorrectly, but I would love an honest answer from the Apple Valley DQ management.
Very long wait and they almost always mess up my order. This time they get it right but my blizzard is completely melted. There was a lid over it, so I didn’t see it till I got home and its a short drive. Do not recommend this location at all.
We stopped coming here last year because I couldn’t wait in the drive through for 30 minutes every time we wanted ice cream. I am literally sitting in the drive through right now going on 20 minutes. Baskin Robbins just opened up down the road and they will have our business this summer. Sooo ridiculous!
Husband waited 30 minutes in line to order two blizzards on a Thursday night. He asked for extra oreo in a blizzard...was charged an extra 62 cents and he gets home and halfway through the blizzard...there is NO oreo in the other half. Additionally we got two LARGE blizzards and were sent home with two small spoons. This location isn't as bad as Rosemount, but really....
