Applebee's is Applebee's.... but what we really enjoyed about our visit was our server! Tiara was on it, she was attentive, kind, friendly. She actually checked on us halfway through, to see how we were doing. I cannot remember the last time that happened. You can tell she is old school- and prioritized customer experience and service. She recommended menu items and helped us make our choices (I needed a side substitute). She was great. We will be back just to see her!
Our server Mariyona, was fabulous, one of the best we have had from any restaurant in a very long time.
No truth In advertising. Arrived at 11:45 asked to be seated and was told that the kitchen is closed, Drinks only until 1am. Posters are clearly not the case.
I personally approach most sit down as being as good as you make it, meaning if you're willing to customize your plate, you'll generally have a good experience. So how about cleanliness and staff attitude then? Cleanliness I would rate average. Staff I would rate as excellent, anyone who's worked food knows what hard work looks like, and they certainly work hard. Staffing seems like the issue lowering this businesses score more than anything else, not enough hands to get all the work done.
I attempted to dine at the Applebee’s restaurant in Apple Valley last night, but I was not successful. When I entered, apparently it was a shift change because it took an extraordinarily long time before any of the weight staff appeared to even take an order. And I also had to ask for the special menu with their “irresisyabowls.” After a an unusually long wait with no food, I noticed that several tables of customers in that area who came in after I did had been served and we’re happily eating. I finally got the attention of the manager and informed her of my problem and she said she’d look into it and disappeared into the back. When I noticed that I had been there for over an hour with no food, I left. There was no apology from the staff, as I exited and no explanation. This is the worst service I have had in my long memory of dining in restaurants.
Manager was rude towards customers, our apps,salad and entrees came to table all at once..wings were Luke warm, chicken wonton tacos evennthe meat was cold, our chicken and shrimp was Luke warm and mashed potatoes were cold. My ceaser salad was wet lettuce with a very little dressing. Best part of our dinner was our drinksOverall would not recommend this placeOur waiter was very pleasant and was attentive to his tablesThe staff cleaning tables was using same rag at all and when we sat down tortilla chip pieces were still all over our table
I picked up a doordash order here. Very clean, staff were friendly, food smelled fresh. Entire restaurant smelled amazing. Would definitely come back sometime.

Not happy with the server i had. Wasn't very friendly or attentive. The restaurant was not busy at all. They might have had 10 tables in the whole restaurant including the bar area. My party of 3 ordered and waited a good while for our food. Didn't think anything of it since everyone is so short staffed but a table of 5 that came in about 20 minutes or so after my table ordered and received their food way before my party of 3. My server not only got my order wrong but never asked how the food was or even asked if we needed any refills. After we finally got our food and i was getting ready to pay i paid by card and didn't leave the tip on my card since i always use cash, the machine at the table asked if i wanted a receipt and i selected not to get one. The server decided to bring me a printout of my receipt total with it showing no tip on the card. I informed the server i had already paid and the servers response was "i know" super snobby than handed me the paper. The tip i was going to give even tho he didn't do his job went down drastically.. people need to do better. If you don't like your job in customer service please find something that doesn't have to deal with the public!
The Applebee's in Northfield is amazing I don't care for the others as much. The food is good it has gone up in price but it still remains good. I love what they do for the veterans and I like the service there. Will definitely be back
