Everything was wonderful! We’re in town for a chemistry convention, so we looked online for a restaurant, and why would you pick the wurst bar! We ordered the patty melt, the wurst burger, the flat fries, we also had the Bavarian pretzels. The server serving on the patio was fantastic!

I can't believe I haven't been here before. This "college bar" has a wonderful selection of drinks, but the food is where The Wurst Bar shines. Fun and innovative tater tot dishes, crazy hamburgers and of course the sausages, were all incredible, but the French fries....oh mama, the French fries are some of the best I've ever had. Go there. Now!
I’m an out of towner and in the area for work. I was trying to find a late spot to eat and everything nearby were only serving drinks or were closed. I even checked out Ann Arbor and nothing. Found the Wurst Bar and definitely far from being the worst bar. The LA wurst was great and had a little kick. The waitress recommended it and the light beer she suggested was great.
Seats need replacing and give it a dive bar look. However, the food is good. The side salad is a great price and you get a lot of it. Super fresh ingredients. Loved that I got a side of blue cheese crumbles with my blue cheese dressing.
A drug dealer had been harassing a friend of mine and trying to get her to get into his vehicle with offers of 'ice' (meth), while following her with his vehicle.She told me about the incident when she entered the bar.He followed her into Wurst Bar but kept his distance from me when she sat down.We informed Wurst employees who intervened professionally and worked with me to get my friend home safely and kick the harassing male out.This is a bar that goes out of their way to make it a safe place for their patrons.
Wow the name says it all! This is the worst bar I have ever been to. Ordered food and the bartender came back 3 times to tell us they were out of basically everything we ordered. It was only 4:30 in the afternoon! I feel like we should of been told prior to ordering drinks and an appetizer that they basically had nothing on the rest of the menu for dinner. The bartender continued to sit people and provide menus. Total waste of time!
I’ve been here a couple times for drinks. Both times I went it wasn’t insanely busy. The staff were all super friendly. The first time I went, not many people (staff or patrons) were wearing masks. The second time I went (post omicron boom) all the staff were masked. Overall a really nice, low-key bar with a great atmosphere. Also their pretzels are amazing.
The food here is absolutely 5 stars, but when you factor in the uncomfortable, torn up seats and the really long wait time for the kitchen to prepare your order it loses a couple. That being said the menu is eclectic and exciting, it is definitely worth the wait when ordering because it's that good. I ordered the brat burger on a pretzel bun, (had a different name though) nacho tots for app, which were amazing and my buddy got the stuffed mushrooms for his app and a spicy brat for main course. Those mushrooms were hands down the best stuffed mushrooms I've ever had and my burger set a new high bar for how a burger should be. His brat looked amazing and he throughly enjoyed it. Amazing food. Our waitress was ok, she tried her best I suppose. Bathroom was kinda run down, but it is a bar after all. Will definitely be back next time I'm in yipsy
Wurst bar is one of my favorite local bars to hang out at, or even just order take out from. They are very well know for having an amazing assortment of tater tots. The general vibe in wurst is very fun! I have never felt bad about being the wurst ( haha) but really top notch definitely recommend!
