The burgers are good but in my opinion do not live up to the hype. It was most definitely under-sized to the weight of the beef listed in the menu even considering how ground beef reduces when it cooks. Neither burger was cooked as we requested.The service could surely have been better, even with a measure of grace for current food service industry challenges. They had plenty of staff and weren't very busy at the time.Overall, they over promise in their marketing and menu ("Best burger in....!!!") but under deliver on the plate. I'll go back if it's convenient and I would recommend considering them for a meal, just enter with more realistic expectations. Perhaps they were among the best at one time, but honestly, I've had much better burgers at "non-burger" restaurants without the hype.
We've been in Ypsi going on three years and this past Easter weekend was our first time going into sidetracks. We have no idea why we are so late to the party... everything was wonderful and we will definitely go back. The menu was vast, the service was great overall , our experience was so enjoyable that this will be our new Watering Hole.

Best Happy Hour beer specials in town. Great food, too - classic American pub fare. The fried pickle spears have been a local favourite as long as I've been a regular (we're coming up on 7 years or so now).
Brunch can be tricky but this place has a nice menu for it. 1-4 on Sunday only. My avocado toast with bacon sold me on the dish. The nicely grilled toast with a little cream cheese as the base may have been the secret. I don't usually like breakfast potatoes but these were delish. Side Track hash made with beef instead of corned beef was also yummy. Getting the fireplace table topped the whole experience!
We happened at arrive during the lunch rush and they were packed!! Our server was attentive. Our drinks arrived quickly and were excellent. We both had the loaded chili and it was so good! My husband had the beef sliders and I had the turkey reuben. Both were outstanding! The portions were large and we both had plenty to take home. Plus whenever we go there we see someone we know which is always a special bonus!!
It would be 5 stars but today was a sad sight. Overall, Sidetracks is awesome! Great service and food. I ordered via Caviar and got the black bean tacos. It says it comes with rice, beans, sour cream, and salsa. The American slices of cheese that were barely melted is just tacky. I had to warm the tacos up in my oven, which helped but still. And there was barely any black bean burger. Seriously disappointed for the FIRST time with this restaurant.
Such a nice place. Good atmosphere. So many seating options indoor and outdoor. So many good options for food and drinks. Prices are so reasonable, that they make me visit this place again and again. Service is fantastic. My server Bryan was amazing and very nice to me. Thanks Bryan! I am vegetarian and this place has so many options for vegetarians. I tried egg roll with beans stuffed inside. Delicious! Happy hour makes it even more amazing. I plan to visit this place quite often.
Consistent as they come. Burgers are nice and juicy. Happy hour beer is awesome, especially when they have interesting stuff on, which is pretty often. Service is usually on par with expectations. No complaints.
The food is awesome, the place is always clean and the staff is professional and happy. The prices are great, especially for the generous portions and the home made quality. You’ve got to try the ranch and the Big Mac Egg Rolls. . . And the sweet potato fries - ohh and don’t forget the sauce that comes with them! Yum!! I’ve never had a bad meal at The Sidetrack and I’ve been coming here for years. You can’t beat the Happy Hour. . . . drag brunch. . . . Creative cocktails - AND zero proof cocktails available too. I love to sit by the fire in the winter and on the patio in the summer! You’ll find me here at least once a week. You should check it out.
