The food is delicious! I was impatient during their remodel closure and tried some other local spots, but nobody could replace Miny's. I was so excited to get back after the reopening and I was not disappointed ?
Fajitas and shrimp tacos ????But they use styrofoam for takeout containers ? please consider eco friendly options ♻️
The renovation looks GREAT and the food is still delicious. I never went for the nice looking place but this brings even more appeal to the already great food!
The food here is always so good and very consistent. The combo is a huge amount of food and definitely fills you up, plus the guys in the shop are really nice and food is always fast. Thanks guys!!

We moved here from Southern CA and have been searching for authentic Mexican food and Miny's is the closest to what I wanted!!! The tacos were great but it's the taste & actually spicy salsas that is making us their regulars would post a pic but it's ALL GONE !
I have been visiting Miny's since 2019 and even though I moved away from the area I still come to order food every ti tme I am back. The tacos are authentic and delicious. I love this place. The chips and salsa are fresh! If you want authentic and not Taco Bell then come here. Mexican tacos are traditionally small and have onion and cilantro. I am a fan of the steak and al pastor. Miami needs a mexican restaurant like this!
What a wonderful place. It’s small, which I like. The food is amazing and it’s a family company! If you are in the ypsi area I recommend this place highly. You will not be disappointed.
It turns out my experience the first time after them re-opening was a fluke!The food is great, as long as you know to order the quesadilla as fried (although it is still not the same as before).The corn tortillas were fresh again, I assume my last experience they had been sitting out or something.Old review:Miny's used to be the best Mexican restaurant in Michigan before they closed to remodel. Unfortunately when they re-opened the quality of the breads has plummeted. The quesadilla used to be a fried home made pocket (it actually still shows the old quesadilla on the menu) now it is a thick tortilla in the form of a normal American quesadilla (like Taco bell). The taco shells used to be fresh corn tortillas, super high quality. Now they are dry, just disappointing.The meat and salsa are thankfully unchanged, but the degraded quality will stop me from frequenting Miny's substantially.I rated 1-star for visibility. They were 5-star.... Now sadly I would consider them a 3-star.
We love Miny's! Food is always fresh, hot, and delicious. Kind and friendly service too. Our go-to for authentic Mexican.
