I go here with my dad all the time and I have made it a good luck ritual to win a rubber duck everytime from their tiny claw machine (low-key the big one sucks) but besides claw machines they're food is really good. Never had any issues with my meals and the owners are super friendly. I recommend the cowboy burger or even their fried chicken salad
It was ok...first time buying food from there. It was freezing inside the restaurant when it was already freezing outside. The staff was friendly. I didn't like the grits too dry everyone can't cook grits lol... I noticed that in Detroit the coney islandsthere gives plenty of food in their Styrofoam box this place is kinda skimpy..... Would I go back again? Maybe if I'm ever in Ypsilanti again ?
Visited last week. Was introduced to the Kielbasa works. Absolutely delicious. had never heard of it before but the waitress informed me all about it while sharing with me the specials. Been craving it ever since. Also wAs a very clean & welcoming environment.
Chicken Stir Fry was delicious! Great portion of veggies. The pita bread was nice and warm.Clean environment, kind staff, and welcoming place. Was a pleasure conversing with the waitresses.Love this place. Worth the trip! Be back soon.
I’m not a big coney island guy but the broasted chicken sign caught my attention.I entered the place with delightful greetings. I was asked how my day was (never get asked that in coneys) and was politely told to seat myself wherever I please.I ordered the broasted chicken dinner with baked potato. I never heard of broasted chicken so it was definitely a new experience.I really enjoyed it. It was something different from what I normally eat but delicious.I was kindly offered chocolate cake but had no room for that. The chicken really filled me up.I will definitely be back for the broasted chicken. It really is something you must try.In regards to the place- the waitresses were very kind. They were full of great energy and made my night. They even found time to communicate with me, offering great hospitality. It was great to see employees these days with positive attitudes. Ever since Covid, I have yet to find (1) a restaurant dine in even open during evening time and (2) staff that’s happy to see someone walk through the door.Awesome Place 10/10
My daughter and I dinned in on February 19. The service was terrible, the waitress looked overwhelmed. She did not greet us just waited for us to order.(she greeted the next table though) I was asking her about the menu items and she basically ignored me. My daughter hash browns were barely cooked and I ordered a sunny side up egg over easy but it was over cooked and dry she also forgot to put cheese on the top that I ordered. When I came to the counter to pay she started being nice, you know tip time. I was then overcharged like 4 dollars. It's fine though, I would never go back or recommend.
I've been here a few times. It's your typical diner food. Every single time I've went, everything was great. Every waitress we've interacted with were always nice to my partner and I. They didn't rush us when we ordered, the food didn't take forever coming out to us, and the diner wasn't filthy every time we dined there. It's your average diner.
Our omelets and potatoes were amazing. Good coffee and the waitress was very nice. We would definitely go again.
I went there in the morning for breakfast which was excellent and the waitress was very accommodating also. I would recommend it because it was a lot of people in there which usually is a very good sign
Hot off the griddle pancakes with sausages, bacon, and eggs so good. The buttermilk pancakes big and fluffy. The service was excellent and the price was right. I think I found my favorite spot to eat so I advise you all not to take my word for it. Go in and have a bite to eat and see for yourself.
