I am Mexican, so the menu here can be mysterious to me. But I have never been let down. The flavors are so good. It’s 92 degrees out here and still that big ol’ bowl of hot pork soup and fat noodles calls to me. I ate the whole thing - no regrets.Love these guys
The food was absolutely phenomenal. Cheap prices and well-sized food portions. The service was awesome, with the lady being extremely funny and outgoing. Noodles were hand pulled and freshly made. The broth was full of flavor and lots of meat and veggies were given in the bowl of noodles. After going the first time, I had to go the second. 10/10 Recommend!
Chongqing Noodle Soup. It is one of my top 3 foods that I have EVER eaten.
Excellent place to get Chinese noodle soup, always order sliced beef or beef brisket noodles, flavorful and with good portion, love love love!!!! So glad to have such a place in the town!
I ordered the sesame chicken meal. It was delivered by Grub Hub. I cut open my chicken and it was pink. It was not cooked all the way through. 0/10 stars. Will not be back and I do not recommend.
We had the scallion pancakes (so good!), knife cut noodles for the veggie lo mein, and they were spectacular. Generously-sized portions, and very fresh.
Pulled up to lan city for quick dinner. I ordered pork dumplings and the chicken Char Kway Teow. First, I will start with the positive. The pork dumplings were delicious. I would definitely get two orders if I ever repeat. The Char kway Teow however, was not that great. It wasn’t awful but definitely not great. The noodles were very sticky and chewy like they had been overcooked and the flavor of the sauce was a little bland for me. I got a little of sweet but no spice. I may give them another try in the future but not anytime soon. No Thai has them beat as far as the combination of spice and noodles in my opinion.
Agree with some previous posts. Long time customer and yes, my family is asian and have lived extensively in Taiwan and China so we've been to countless hand made noodle bars. The knife cut noodles here used to be really good, thin, and consistent (slightly thicker than fettuccine) when they first opened but over the past year been back 4 to 5 times and had several family members regret ordering the knife cut every time (some were literally the thickness of a standard Lego brick), hoping that it was just a fill in chef. Food quality and taste has definitely taken a hard turn from what it once was.I'll continue to try it once in a while in hopes that the quality improves because it is unique and super delicious if the restaurant is managed correctly, but for now I'm open to trying other noodle shops.
Food was delicious! Only downside was that my dumplings were packed in a very small to-go container so they kind of melded together and that made them difficult to eat. But still flavorful! Food was hot and fresh, which I really appreciated. Will order again?
This place is serious quality for a very reasonable price. The noodles and broth were amazing in the Duck Noodle soup! The curry samosas were also a huge hit with the chutney complementing the flavor profile perfectly. First time going but I suspect this place will become a regular spot!
