So horrible!!!! The pop is flat and warm. I just wasted $10.00! No one cares
I've been to this location several times this month and every time I give it another chance I'm let down again. The other day I ordered food via the app, went in to pick it up around 7, the doors were locked, despite their door literally saying the lobby is open until 8, then went around through the drive through then to be told there's no food AT ALL, which must have been told to the cars in front of me as well, as they all left without ordered, so I asked what to do about my mobile order to get it at a different store and they just told me to pull up to the window, where they ignored me for 15 minutes despite there being no other customers, and then I received my food, which was the complete wrong order, something I should have checked before leaving but didn't have the time to since I had been waiting so long, so I didn't realize until I got to work that the order was wrong. Today I went and waited 30 minutes at the speaker after I was asked to wait a moment, which since there were once again, no other cars or customers waiting, seemed outrageous. I don't like to complain bit these past 2 incidents have been the last straw. I live a good 15 minutes from the KFC on Carpenter rd, but I'd rather drive there from here on out, even though I live 5 minutes from this location. Its just not worth it.
This is the worst KFC I've ever experienced. It isn't a one-off experience either. I try to be understanding - maybe I got the wrong order, maybe it was a rough night - but it's gotten ridiculous. I only ever order a chicken pot pie fill up. Half the time the pie is halfway out of the tin, but I'd prefer that to the other half of the time when I don't even get my food - or I get the wrong food entirely. The attached image is what I got tonight when I ordered a pot pie. I know capitalism is crushing all of our souls and the employees are underpaid, but disrespect and disregard here is on another level. This has been going on for months and I'm sick of giving this place more chances to waste my time and money.
I try to minimize my fast food intake, but sometimes you're in a hurry on your lunch break and needing to bug something to eat heading home ftom an errand. This place offers a quick drive-thru experience not far from Grove and Washtenaw, with a pretty stripped down menu that focuses on a handful of meal styles that cater to different tastes.I don't go in for fried chicken bowls but they will serve it that way. They also serve their fill-ups in sandwich form. I usually get one of their fill-up meals, but opting for a simple fried breast as entree (number 15) and getting a side of mac or mashed potatoes. You get a fountain drink with that, and like most places one of the options is a vitamin beverage. It's a fast, cheap and hearty lunch with some decent chicken for under $10, served almost as fast as you can order it. For what it does? No real complaints. If you don't mind paying a little more they have some specialty entrees that come in more flavor varieties than the more economic options, which already tend to be plenty of food.The staff seem inexperienced, but polite and helpful. They also sell affordable buckets that serve many if you're looking to feed a family a robust dinner quickly. Only open until like 8, so not so much a late night option unless you stocked up earlier. Their Nashville flavor is some of the hottest chicken in town, matched by only a few of the major players in the town's fried chicken scene. They're a useful addition to the neighborhood's fast food options.
tl;dr: Rude, incomplete order, no napkins, no utensils. Just had the worst experience! They took 10minutes to take the order at drive thru we payed for the meal they did not give us the food they had us pull around to wait for the food we waited half an hour for the meal. Didn't get the correct meal. Other customers said the workers inside were yelling they are not cooking or taking orders. The doors were locked so we could not even go inside to see what was going on they looked at me when I wanted to go inside and just ignored me. Then we walk up to the drive thru window. And they argued with us to give us our money back! This was the worst experience and we will never be back ever again! One of the workers walked out and left while we were waiting. The other 2 workers I saw thru the windows were just standing around playing on their phones! They were just trying to take customers money and not give anyone any food at all
Completely messed up my order. They gave me 2 chicken tenders instead of 5, and they forgot the 7 sauces, 5 of which I paid extra for. Complete rip off.
My chicken wasn't done, cole slaw was spoiled and my corn was so dry it looks like its feed corn for animals, I tried to call store they want to play games and hang up on me.. 1/24/22 730pm..
Every time I come I more and more disapointed with the food quality of the KFC. Visited several KFC locations around Ann Arbor. All of them were below my expectations.
After all these years, the Taco Bell down the street has competition for the Worst Restaurant in Ypsilanti. Employees are lazy, rude and incompetent. Management is a joke. Service is non-existent. You will never get what you ordered, you will never get it in a reasonable amount of time, and no one will care. A true blight on the community.
