Very personable staff. Clean dinning room and bathrooms. Quick service and delicious food. Had a good time.
6/20/2022My children and I are here visiting from Virginia, so we decided to grab breakfast out. This Ihop was the worst choice we could have made. First, after taking our order on paper the waitress says that the kitchen lost the order in the system and therefore, our food had to be cooked again. Was the order lost, if so, why does it need to be cooked 'again'? Now we are waiting even longer for our food. Once the food arrives, it's slightly warmer than room temperature, but not hot and I do not have patience to complain. To make up for the mistake, they offered a whole $7 off the bill. Additionally, the waitress never checked on us and we continuously had to ask other staff to get her. This place is poorly managed and not worth killing your appetite for.
Terrible new menu since Covid. Prices have gone up and the quality of food is terrible. We used to get a wonderful handcrafted sandwich that came with 2 choices. They no longer have hash browns. Their fruit is FROZEN and watery. The past 2 times my husband ordered a ham, cheese, egg melt sandwich it came with tough bread, grilled and burned. The ham was so tough it was like shoe leather and you could hardly see it. The egg was burned. He took 1 bite, spit it out, and put the remainder down the garbage disposal! $9.95 down the drain! We WON'T GO BACK. The new website is slow and difficult to use. The manager at the ELLSWORTH RD IHOP is great but the new menu, lack of choices, food quality are UNACCEPTABLE. GOODBYE IHOP!
Food was awful. Service good. Place was empty and they still seated quest next to each other.
The service is always nice and friendly. Compared to other Cities locations
My experience at this IHop has always been pleasurable. The staff are always friendly. Today Alex in particular was probably the nicest waitress I've ever had. And the manager who's name is also Alex is ALWAYS personable and friendly. Great place. My food was very good?
Ask for water and I never received it and my food was cold I'm usually not so picky however they didn't have a full house in fact I would say that it was less than half of what they could seati seen staff walking around in and out of the back and only noticed one waitress so I said nothing about not having my water or my cold food. They need to put more people on the floor to wait tables.
A coworker and I have breakfast once a month. Both old white guys. Veterans that feed Veterans. We were ignored until we almost had to leave. He had to work, it was my day off. The server walked by us for 15 minutes without taking a drink order or providing silverware or menu. We both got the vibe that it was intentional. When my friend asked the person we thought to be a manager, he raised his finger and basically shushed him. I ordered biscuits and gravy. Got two biscuits halved with like a teaspoon of gravy on each one. Never felt more unwelcome. So sad.
The food was good. The service was not. Had to ask twice for silverware, took another 5 minutes to get it. Asked for 2 go boxes twice and waited another 5 minutes, finally asked another waitress for a box and she brought it right away.
Been to this location 2 times.First time was great, food was good, server was good.Second time we went later in the afternoon for dinner as I was craving breakfast for dinner, the restaurant was totally empty stood in the front for about 5 mins where there was a sign saying “please wait to be seated” and nobody came to seat us. It sounded like the waitress’ were sitting in the back possibly folding silverware. One of the waitress’ got up looked in our general direction, went to the back, came back and sat right back down to talk to her coworker and do whatever they were doing….Took our business to bob evans down the road and got served right away. Won’t be coming back to any ihop as I’ve had a similar experience at a different location and just thought it was a fluke which is why we tried again…. Apparently it’s normal business practice to Just not pay attention to the front of the store and ignore customers.I’m honestly surprised these places are still in business.
